Competitive players are the one who compete over things such as fortresses, pvp ranks and endgame content, there are no merits in botting and reaching the top, I never talked about that, but if players who compete over things bot, then the game is fucked, and Aion isn't the case, the most successful players right now are the ones who played legitly because cheating in this game can't take you as far as cheating in the game you mentioned.

I'm glad you have teh faith. You see, I was there in the very, very, very beginning of L2. I saw first-hand the rise of the -CN- on Erica. I saw the bots take over the game... and they are still rampant this many years later.

Rampant botting? There are gold farmers, but bots haven't reached a mainstream status like in L2, where competitive players bot. Right now is WoW's status if it didn't have easy mode instances.
You gotta get a clue about what you talk, you're not foreseeing the future, specially not on these forums where 50% of the people who post frequently played/are playing on the Korean servers and know more about this game than all those who talk about rampant botting without even playing.
