One more things in regards to PVP -- I dread this scenario but I know its gonna happen. all the dungeons to my knowledge are all FFA. Right now everyone is friendly but imagine when a bad guy comes along.
You cant Teleport out of a dungeon so even a Master Sorceror will be sitting duck. So pirates can just roll in there and get their looting on after the bosses are slain. You'll probably have so much loot you cant even walk and will need a buff lol.
But you will have to make it out of the dungeon befo they rez and you can't Teleport out to the bank til you get out that entrance.
Gonna be some good fighting at the dungeons. Epic even once things kick off. But not sure if people will scream bloody murder and get it Trammel'ed

Ive been thinking that as well. Everyone knows each other as of right now, and no one has really become a PK.
Someone will eventually, and it will really mix things up (in a good way). Dungeons could get intense
as a side note, i am in the process of designing my PVP realm just for that occasion
Read this post today 10th Feb and went to the website and had registration open so signed up and confirmed it all. Came back to website and now it said registration closed, so they must only allow so many a day or something. But I got through and now off to check it out. Looks alot of fun.
just a quick update, last night i planted some plants in my garden to hopefully harvest and work on my cooking skill, well little did i realise that today my house would be infested with gnomes... (the evil kind)
some were riding rats, some where running, but as i wandered onto my property i was quickly mobbed and killed.

My char is Blaek in game. What a great community seriously. I will be playing this for a while I can tell. Had a lot of fun in the dungeon by the graveyard killing the bone dragon thing. They need to add this game to their list here.

Methinks accounts will be as rare as Rocking Horse Poo at the moment with the sudden buzz of interest, but no harm in trying to persuade someone to lend you some time on their account .

Even If the game is not fun at all, or nothing like the video, Is more hope to the MMORPG departament. I mean something visually appealing and cheap (less than some million dollars) is posible. Maybe at hand!

Linkrealm's community is one of the best reasons to play, simply because players like yourself are nowhere to be found.
What's even more amusing is that Linkrealms has better character animations, more engaging gameplay, better crafting and overall higher quality content than Darkfall too!

Not exactly. You have to buy a stake and "claim" a land, but the stakes are expensive (at least for a new tester). Once you've staked your claim though, yes, the editor is used to create and then upload your land.
I got in last night and it's definitely interesting. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the guides are really helpful. ATM things are a bit confusing because there's so much going on and not really a good guide for it though. The only real complaint I have is that combat is slow right now since 3 out of 4 swings seem to miss your target (the same with your enemy sometimes). Hopefully this changes as you get higher levels. Otherwise though, it's definitely fun to be in a game that has so much going on.

I am QUITE sure that at some point I have probably done either or BOTH of those things (like you yourself have), sure, but...I do TRY to avoid doing that. Furthermore, this isn't a thread about DF, even though most threads on these forums seem to be right now, or if they're NOT, they get turned INTO one. This isn't going to be ONE of those threads. From here on out, I think ignoring posts that are completely unrelated to the topic, is probably a pretty good idea. If it gets too out of control and is obviously being overrun by people who want to slam DF, I won't have any problem reporting off topic posts that are obviously for trolling purposes only.
