I think most people will say Eve is the most boring, because how long it takes to get to fun part of the game.
So Yea Eve gets the most boring for me, and yet I'm going to try it yet again because I'm bored, and it's something to do while I wait for JGE.
Most Fun WoW. Not my 1st MMO, it was my 3rd, but it was 1st I actually enjoyed enough to play for 4 years. Mostly because it was solo friendly, and grouping wasn't as much a pain as FFXI. Best of all leveling didn't feel like a grind (on the 1st toon, at least).
1st MMO: EQ1, Played that 5/6 days. Typing to NPCs (and dieing because autoattacked them when messed up typing) and having my crafting fail and losing everything I spend 4 days collecting killed the game for me, quick.
2nd MMO: FFXI Played for 3 months. Was fun for awhile, but the lack of quests, the grind, and how hard it was to find a group to grind with got old.
It seems like there is a trend going for EVE being the most boring game out there. It's too bad, since I find EVE to be much more entertaining than games like... say... WoW, or LotRO, or any -other- game that follows the WoW model. One good thing I find about EVE is the community, and it's fairly obvious, by the posters here who are disenchanted with the game, that the game mechanics do a good job of keeping the riff-raff out.
The most boring to me, unfortunately, was FFXI. Even though I have heard many times it was a great game, I just had an experience scratching my head. For starters, I didn't know ANYBODY who played the game. I had just come from playing Everquest 2, where soloing was viable. In FFXI, you cannot solo whatsoever. I died constantly, took HOURS trying to find groups, died some more, tried to fish, died some more, then rerolled a new classs. Needless to say, things didn't go well.
The most fun to me was probably certain times in world of warcraft doing open world PVP. The huge battles in Vanilla wow between Southshore and Tarren Mill. Sneaking into Ironforge on my troll rogue and coordinating ganks with fellow hordies. Also, just those great battles with other players of the opposite faction, leveling in the same area. Yea, those were fun.

Yeah, EVE's a game that either grabs you (like it did me) or it doesn't. (like many people who've tried it)
Just the type of game it is I suppose, and perhaps when I was younger it wouldn't have had the same appeal as it does today.
Maybe I'm just burnt out on the EQ/WOW model and appreciate the difference EVE offers.
Most boring, had to be Lineage 1. That game had me endlessly grinding for rep, cash, and camping boss mobs for up to 15 hours waiting for them to spawn.
Just trying to live long enough to play a new, released MMORPG, playing New Worlds atm

Some MMO called MUU (or something like that) online. Had an isometric view like Diablo. Was absolutely horrible though.
A few other ones I found really awful: Dofus, Maplestory, (this one is fun until you realize quickly how much of a grind it is and how uninspired the combat is) and Runescape.
Most fun for me was probably the original EQ or MUDs before that. Back then at least... wouldn't return to them now.
I'm shocked people would put Eve, WoW, or AoC as the most boring though. You guys obviously haven't played enough F2P MMOs.

I agree completely. I tried EVE when I was much younger (5 years ago) - the pace of things and the relative lack of "in your face" action did not make it appealing to me whatsoever. I think age allowed me to appreciate the more graceful aspects that it perfects, much more so than any other MMO out there, I would say. The sheer depth of it, and the options it presents to the player, are nothing short of amazing.
Most fun: to many games have given me really fun memmories to list just one. Even the ones I didn't stick with for very long.
Most boring: Also a tough one.
Horizons and tabula rasa were both complete snooze fests. I was bored out of my mind by level 10 in each.
Eve was also very boring and gets a special mention. I never made it to the "better parts" of the game people talk about, because the beginning was rather boring. Someday I might give it another chance though.
Rappelz. It was so boring it took me a couple of minutes to remember the name.

Most fun games for me EQ1 and UO. The most boring hmmmm Horizon. Wish EQ1 was completely revamped up to kunark and started clean slate with all level 1 toons. I also wish Lord British wouldve redone UO rather then Tabula Rasa
Boring ...sorry to say ..but it's Eve (I really wanted to like the game and was hoping to go to planets and explore...maybe STO will fill my expectations of this)
Fun..LOTRO and GW (love the Lore in LOTRO and the people)..wish I could have played SWG before it was broken.
Most boring for me was Sword of The New World, ugh it was gawdawful crap. Best was a long time ago, when DAOC first came out. It gave me that "unexplored" "everything is new" feeling that I got when I first played the original Ultima games.
That feeling is currently nowhere to be found in the cookie cutter WoW-esque era of MMORPG's.
Most boring had to be AoC at lvl 80. There was basically nothing to do and ganking the same 10 people got old. Sieges never happened in the 3 months i played.
Most fun well. WoW I am playing after 4 1/2 years
All MMO's have grinds. If you don't like to Grind then MMO's are not for you.
Most boring: Priston tale. The grind in that game could make people commit suicide. Honestly..
Most enjoyable: Tibia. Remember guys? The German 2d game where everyone wanted to kill you for the lolz? I never thought I'd miss fearing for my hard earned xp.
Well, at first I was going to put EQ2, but I changed my mind at the last second. I decided to try Runescape once and quit within 5 minutes.
My most fun is WoW (I have quit it now). It was still fun on occasion, but I really loved playing back pre-bc. Everyone was so nice and friendly (at least on my realm). Now its like if you don't break 3.5k dps then you can't run a freakin heroic lol.

Every few months it gets painfully boring. I quit for a few months, and when I come back it's fun again.

Warhammer. It was unbelievably boring. Recently also DFO. But I guess that does not surprise so many.

Most fun classic EQ pre 2003, most boring EQ2.
Most boring= crapload worthless quest for exp. Kill x for y etc... blah blah blah.
Most Fun= hard, long, and fun rewarding quest for cool item, doesn't requires group much too.
