i seriously dont see the reason for all the fuss...have you ever though that he might have enjoyed what he did? who are you people to criticize the guy for doing something he liked..yeah he probably spent most of his day playing WoW..or not..who cares anyway? everyone should live doing what they think is best and what they like, cause whats wrong for someone might be right for someone else.
and the argument of you have no life...someone please give me the definition of having a life..
How is this any different from the people that brag they played EQ1 for 5 years and spent hours and hours in dungeons and spent days and days camping a rare boss?
Is the only difference that this guy was dedicated to WoW and other people played EQ1? Im quite sure if this guy complted every quest, beat every dungeon, killed raid boss and explored every part of EQ1 this guy would be revered as an true MMO veteran here on MMORPG.com and not reviled as a no life loser.
Wow is ridiculus anyway so i wont give props to him. No respect for a life waster. Also, he probably had to download millions of addons to get what he need really fast. There are addons that are worst then cheat in wow that are allowed. Addons to see where are exact crafting nodes, herb and monsters, addons to Scam the Auction house to buy and resell. The auction house scam Addon make you being able to stay in front of the auction house and make more then 1000 per days without the need to leave the racial city.
Wow is broken and too easy. You should switch up with a real mmorpg. I recommend Darkfall.

Well you do know about all that meaning the same applies to you..still what you do with your life is up to you and not up to others to decide.
What makes this so different from climbing to the top of Mount Everest, building toothpick structures or restoring old cars? We are all here to do what we want with our lives, every second is wasted in reality there are no real accomplishments in life, we are all born and we will all eventually die. Whatever you do everyday, I am sure it could be considered having no life, I assume most of you are jealous or just hateful out of spite, regardless of the fact he's probably accomplished something 11 million other people would like too. It doesnt matter what others think of what you do in life, only your own thoughts and feelings should matter.
also if you play and MMO or any game you are already a hypocrite, you cant critizes someone for this if you too are on the same path as them. What if he quits playing today and his toon has 150 days played, in a year from now your toon hits 150 days played, are you not equal or on the same level as him? I can't believe how selfish and stupid interneters are.

Couldnt agree with you more....the difinition of life vary from one human being to another so what you do with it its up to you and you alone.
mm from the dungeon ach thing it looks like he created this toon on the 10-15-08
we re in 5-08-2010 so this means he did all this in 1 year and 7 month or so!
cudo to him or her!
that's the week achievements were released via 2.9 preking, anything prior you had done in the game to that day would be recorded as an achievement, it only has that date due to that being the first day achievements were live.
Yo hypocrites stop trying to use this guy to make you feel better about your life. If you have a forum account at MMORPG.com and play MMO's you have problems too.
I play MMO's because i can't stand hanging out with real life people other then my gf and my family. And i understand this is a problem.......stop judging and look at your own damn lives people.
Playing: PO, EVE Waiting for: WoD Favourite MMOs: VG, EVE, FE and DDO Any person who expresses rage and loathing for an MMO is preposterous. He or she is like a person who has put on full armor and attacked a hot fudge sundae.
Half of those achievements are so mind numblingly boring and stupid. Go /hug a critter...go kill a critter. Go do 1000 quests that will give you no xp. Some are worth having though. But all in all, yes he has no life.
Grats to this guy. I envy him a lot. Not because of how much time he's put into the game, but because he found a game he enjoys enough TO put that much time into.
I've been looking for that for years.
"There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer."
That's quite an achievement. I think it's something to be proud of in a way, but now I hope he can move on and do other things. It's not good for anyone to be too absorbed by one thing. Just my opinion.
I would be curious to know the demographics of this person. Not to bash him or critique, just curious as to age, profession, married/single, kids, etc.
Do people ever stop and think before they comment? My first thought was also, wow do something else here and there. Then I thought about it for more than a second. What if he's disabled, disfigured, extremely wealthy (doesn't have to work), hell he could live somewhere where WOW is the only thing to actually do for fun, outside of cow tipping.
I don't know if it's jealousy, envy, a confidence boost or what, but some of you are being completely ridiculous. Making blind assumptions about another person (at least the likes of which I'm seeing here) is for.. well.. you know.. If you're not one that is.

Who cares if he has no life (like any of you guys paid for his acc and/or living expanses, etc anyway). He accomplished something and i applaud him for that.
I'm more curious what he'll do now that he "finished" WoW. lol
Let's take the following situation: a person is working 12 hours a day or more. Noone tells him that's pushing it to the extremes, that he should find time to do something else. Work is considered for some occult reason sacred ground.
But let's assume there's another fellow who plays computer games for 12 hours a day...addict, insane, are you out of your mind? Go out more, get a life...
Get the picture? If someone somehow finds genuine pleasure in whaterver he is doing, other than RL commitments -- walk the dog, that's socializing, chicks love pups -- then he's doomed.
Taking things to the extremes always fascinated us yet some lack the motivation and/or commitment to do so. If someone else does, however, than he's either mentally impaired or an alien species that should be kept hidden in some secret laboratory.
Video gamers are more than capable of socializing, but you know what? Maybe they think it's not worth it and choose a rather different approach to life's big MMO called Boredom.

He'll probably wait for them to add more achievements.
Personally I find WoW achievements to be worthless, but this guy obviously holds value in them. Actually, I find avhievements in all games to be useless.
This is the hardest I have laughed on a forum post. ^^^^^^ WIN
Just so everyone knows, that is a quote from the WoW episode of Southpark. Great episode and the guy with no life is probably similar to this guy that just beat WoW.
He probably actually played the game for fun instead of spending all his time reading and posting on forums, stating how much time other people waste on meaningless things.
We know this, and so does the OP. The point was that this is as close as you could possibly get to beating it.
Originally posted by Scagweed22 is it the graphics? the repetativenesses? i mean what is the point? you could be so much more productive in real life Real life brings repetition and pointlessness too. Amusing so much hate from people on a website dedicated to mmo's
Gratz to him.
Wish I had the time much less the patience.
