I have tested too many MMO's to date as it is. I am more likely not going to test anymore. In fact, I just got into an MMO that I had not previously tested and find I am enjoying it much more. Seems that the beta testing of these games has a tendency to really ruin the excitement and sense of exploration of getting into a NEW game for the first time.
With that said, I probably would test SWTOR only if someone twisted my arm really hard. In fact, of all the games on the list, that is the only one that I have any interest in playing.
The Secret World. it;s the only original game there.

i'll go with that.... i can't see them making a Mythic mistake, and lets face it 40k is where the fun is at in the warhammer universe

If I really want something to play ... I don't want to see the Beta...
Beta made me give up on Lotro, TR, WAR etc ... very fast.
So I decline Beta invites to Cataclysm and Guild Wars2: I want to be surprised by those.
I would accept SW (as I think it will be a clear cut (nice) but single player adventure with extreme long cut scenes and boring NPC play) just to be sure.
I don't bother with the rest of the bunch as FF14 is not my cup of slow combat PVE tea and the rest is not made by capable development houses anyway (read resources).
IF - for some reason or another - there would be something, I guess the mouth to mouth publicity will reach our RL fantasy club like it did with Wow in 2005.
My Hard Disk is very pleased with this attitude.

Well it would be between Final Fantasy XIV, and Guild Wars 2 for me. The others dont seem to look too good to me anymore lol, being that some of the games you listed only support direct x 9, and DX10/11 are out.
Tie between The Secret World and SWTOR... probably secret world, because i already know SWTOR will be great and i'll preorder, but i'd like to beta the secret world to know ahead of time if it'll be worth it.
Same here actually. That and I would like to be able to look for bugs in the Secret World and figure there's more than enough people looking for them in TOR
having played neither, perhaps you could expand on this? What exactly is GW 2 going to bring to the game that SW TOR is lacking?
Reading a few of the content related updates from GW2 would answer your questions. The only two upcoming titles that are really bringing changes, or attempting to substantially change what an MMO consists of are Guild Wars 2 and Rift. TERA's combat looks interesting, but I'm not too hopeful on the title just yet until more information is released.
TOR will probably be quality, but the innovation in the title doesn't match other titles.
What your saying is that you really have no idea? Got it.
No Madeux, It's you who have no clue.
I'll mention three things for you:
- cross profession combos
- dynamic events
- environmental weapons
Next thing you'll probably mention it's all instanced.
Another game want to check out not on list is Vinidictus. The combat looks really cool, but I have a feeling it isn't going to be a deep combat system.
Im one of the ones that chose wow Cataclysm, because i know that it wont be a dissapointment because currently wow is in my opinion the best MMORPG out and to be able to test the new content will be great. Also the fact that if i was to choose an entirely new game i wouldnt be sure whether or not its worth it and may not even end up playing the beta.
Voted for The Secret World - possibly 'cause I'm re-reading a ton of HP Lovecraft at the moment : )
My order of preference would be TSW -> GW2->FFXIV
SW:TOR is a toughie for me, I want to play it and can't swear that I'd turn down a beta key, but (and this is a rare stance from me) I'd rather experiece it for the first time at release.
choose the secret world, not so much because I d be intrested in beta testing, but want to see if they have learned to put the MMs into MMOs, in a meaningful way. love the idea of the secret world, but cant be excited about the game at all, since disliked the way they designed Age of Conan.
atleast would need a free trial before going anywhere near TSW :P

I chose "other." Didn't see 40k MMO anywhere on there (I know it's not in beta or won't be any time soon, but it's definitely number 1 to check out).
WOD since im a fan of White wolf's RPG.
Guild Wars 2 or Rift
Jumpgate Evolution and TERA tied for me.

FF#. It sounds interesting but I probably wouldn't play it when comes out.
I'd rather not beta SWTOR as I want to play it in its pristiness.
APB should be on that list becuase everyone is given the chance to beta test it right now.

None, doing a beta just removes the surprises and makes launch a less fun experaince, you will leave the game sooner because of that.

Cataclysm

SWTOR would be next though I'm not sure how playable it will be after you finish the story.

Go read about it or stay ignorant.

i thought both everquest had priest in armor already so nothing new there
GW2 first, might check out Rift...

Other, World of Darkness.
F2P/P2P excellent thread.

For me it would be "The Secret World"
However I have been in two beta tests (URU and Seed) both went away.
I would hate to jinx Secret World
I voted for RIFT. Really the only game I'm anxious to see. But TERA would have been second choice if it were listed.

SWTOR hands down.
