Why is that pathetic? That we want to share our gaming experiences with new players? That we want a little exposure so more people can try it for themselves? We are simply a group of players that feels strongly about it as you should have been able to deduce from our posts. And the link I provided to the AE forums generally do not require registeration to view most of the content. Want a great example of how much the Devs communicate with us on a daily basis? Click on OneEye the main dev and see how much he actually post information and interacts with us. Don't take my word for it, you've only 'known' me one day see for yourself.

And it's not pathetic to get people out to spread the word of your game, but it is pathetic to use the hype meter as a tool for your own means.

i am downloading this game right know jus to see how good it as< if its true that this game is good i will tell you ^_^> if its not good i will trash it and tell yall if its bad peace everyone wish me luck haha take care ^_^

uh because you guys all decided to show up at the same time and trick people into thinking this game is good by all saying that this game is good. And It doesnt impress me that your hand in hand with the dev. Its fairly obvious. Thats what we were pointing out basically. Its an insult to these forum users intelligence to think thes ploys will work. This game appears to be 1980 diablo clone and will only show you tiny screenshots. Is it 2d? lol oh yeah but its ranked higher then EQ2? lmao duh

To be fair, we all should take a quick look at the game details that MMORPG has graciously provided for the game, and give the game a review. After all, this is what they want...

I give <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Punkrock MOUNTAINS of credit for at least bothering to download it for himself and not just judging the game by its screenshots. Several of us already said the graphics are not the main appeal of the game. He also didnt automatically start assuming all of us are secretly IWG staffers trying to hype the game. None of us are, I even told you how to prove that and where. But you can lead a horse to water, etc.

If you hadnt noticed I never bashed the game but rather what I seen on the website. Rather the unscrupulous tactics used by you and your friends too hype your game is shameful. Are you really surprised people point this out to you? Or did you come in here to fight for a has been game?

The rudeness on this board reminds me why I havent posted on these forums with being a member as long as I have. I am completely disgusted with the treatment that these new members have recieved.

AE is a game that many have desided to call home for many reasons. They simply wanted to share that with the gaming community. Shame they were flamed so horribly.

You must understand that the tactice that were used here we see alot. Some are for blatant webscams and others for total useless games. As I havent tried AE all I could do was point out that the style of hypeing you guys used was very unconvincing. Sorry if it was so offensive but most spammers have pretty thick skin

I play AE. In my opinion, AE is better than a lot of games. It's kept me there for a long time, and most game s don't do that. Everquest 2 sucks. Whoever plays that crap is stupid. If you judge a game by it's graphics, then you can go die. I judge a game by how fun it is, not how it looks.

Obviously, it's a fair game when the developers of a certain game tell it's players to post a few times and hype their game as high as possible. I mean, what is not fair about that?

Please, it'd be fine if just one player tells us about the game and the others add a few things, not repeat the exact same stuff. It'd also be fine if all you Ashen Empires fanboys don't give the game a 10, and 10, and nothing but 10 on the ranking.

I don't think you see a game like World of Warcraft saying to their players "hey guys, go to these certain sites, post a few times, and rank our game as high as we can get!".

It is only fair if they just be quiet about it and let their players find out about this site themselves, and only fair if you all give decent and fair reviews instead of putting a 10 or 9 on everything.

I have loved a few MMORPGs, but I don't think I've ever even gave it a 9 or 10 just because of that. I give it a fair score and think about the factors (does it have good graphics compared to this game, is it really fun, are the music well composed etc..).

Troll if that makes you feel better, however Im only interested in honest opinion or fact especially based on personal experience and if you dont have it in this case then Im really not interested in your opinion. Speaking of facts, here is the actual thread where I first heard about this web site. The question was asked by an IWG, GM for player opinion about how IWG could best advertise the game with a low operating budget and some PLAYERS suggested this site among numerous other suggestions.
