    The people who run this game are thugs and so is there small fanbase is disgusting I look forward to the day this game goes offline and justice is served.

    Actually the publisher did at least once publish a IP address for one banned person

    The topic regarding spam from Mourning is deleted now, big surprise there. Also I dont think Mourning should be called a mmorpg if there are CS maps that hold more people at once.

    Thread on net code being total crap meaning 30 people online at once lag all the time since server & client dont update correctly which is seen as lag/frezeez.

    Oh this is cute. The server is total crap, but know the code is also junk. It doesn't look they can fix this problem, as it should have been put in very early in devlopment. Its a core code, so looks like more fun is in store for mourning fanbois.......

    thats pretty bad. that was the same reason that Dragon Empires was cancelled, the code they had built up wasnt network worthy and wouldve taken too much time and money to fix. Say goodby to Mourning.

    I thought the game was released............Egomancer didn't say that it was still in Alpha..........

    But we are talking of Egomancer here, master in deceiving clueless customers that happen to be slightly interested in this pile of crap called Mourning.

    The sooner this game will be shot into oblivion, the better.

    The game is not alpha, it's a disaster from what I read. :-) Even their own forums are full of problem reports. Not bugs, but HUUUUGE errors. This game will go down quickly unless somebody has money to burn.
    as for Egomancer : just look at the name, it starts with EGO....that's what they guy is all about, hehe, nothing else.

    Yep, your right. Just a quick reminder on there forums- they are just deleteing threads that report "problems" left and right. You should see how many threads and user just disappear on some days.

    As for ego problems- look at the publishers/admin's sig.

    Oh boy. The Mourning drama continues.

    Here are a couple of old forum threads from back in early February '05 posted on Mourning. Back then I had VERY serious concerns about the game (and this was before the release).

    If you take a look at these forums, you'll see that even though I was simply asking the possibilities of Mourning being a crummy game and not ready for release, oh my did I get attacked on here just for asking that question! Most people attacked me for asking "Could Mourning be a scam?" and I explained that by scam I meant not ready for release, therefore resulting in the customers feeling "scammed" by a buggy game nowhere near ready for release. I got attacked for asking this. And now look. Anyhow, Just to give a fair trial to Mourning.. I will be purchasing their game just to give it a test. I understand I will be losing $20 on a game not ready for the masses. But my curiosity at this point is just exactly where this game stands today. I will give an accurate description of the current state of this game once I spend sufficient time with it.

    Hmmm..... I think after about 3 weeks of downed servers I wouldn't be going "Thanks!!" to comments saying "so if you can not log this is probably because it is down". This comment is up there with "Its going to be down, but Im leaving". I just love guessing at the problem and saying it will be down(no info when it is going to be back up or if they are working on it). Egomancer is a great at public realtions...
