Are you an uptight fat bastard who expects a game to work 100% at release - no allthough you probably allready bought just so you can complain.
If you have a high preference to quality, and prefer B+ A work - No come back in 6 months.
If You can handle a few problems such as lag spikes and some other issues. - yes if $50 wont kill you.
If you have thick skin realize its not an ideal situation but figure what the hell why not - yes.
I have no issues ever loggin in. I have had the character disapear before, its a log in issue, you drop out, log in presto your back,
Lag and getting locked out of zones is an issue but is getting better each day. next 2 weeks is basicly fixing that, then there going to work on the client side of things.
I defiantly do not have a FPS issue people have and I dont even have the greatest card a Nvidai 280 or soemthing like that. Win 7 4 gigs of ram quad 3ghz.

As the minimum requirements written on the box of the game and available online aren't a truthful representation of the reality; and as you know that those minimum requirements are wrong and dishonnest, do you realize how close you will be from being prosecuted for fraud if you sell your account?

Even though I had a pretty bad experience in beta, I thought to myself that maybe this game can be good one day but after perusing the ER forums and seeing that many people STILL can't even freaking keys to the game 6 days after release is pretty silly. If you like throwing your money and act like you're invensting something, by all means, buy this game. Just make sure you learn how to exploit and bunnyhop (I know, pressing space bar is hard).

People say it's worse than MO was at launch = not a good sign. MO is just now, eight monhts post release, starting to reach an acceptable state, but it's still an empty and partially broken game. It's definitely not the sandbox I signed up for. It's not going in any interesting direction because the devs are still struggling with all the failed design choices, technical issues and bad coding. ER seems to be heading the same way; with a launch like this it's hard to focus on anything but making the core mechanics work, which means no major content for a long time. In MO's case, this has meant meaningless (and non-working) PvP being the center of everything. Looking at ER PvP videos I just get the same feeling, but with additional bunny hopping.
Guess I'll be playing Xsyon. It's pretty ugly, kinda weird, and far from a finished game - but at least it's playable and full of actual, working sandbox features.
I love the game, i played in beta for 1 weeks and pre-order, but i find most of my playing time since launch is reloging. Zone server down, can't log in. Everytime u teleported or die u'll get desync, have to relog. Half of playing time is not playing.
So if you fine with these issues, you'll love the game. If you don't have alot of patient, i don't think u should try this game at all.
Ps: it is very annoying to get killed by invisible mobs, respawn, run back to corpse to get your stuff to find nothing there ( desync ), relog and by this time someone else took all your shit
Being completely honest - in my opinion DO NOT BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW - UNLESS if your primary reason for buying is to support the game because you love sandboxes, and help them make it in to the future.
If you played in beta the last few days before release, not much has changed. There are still connection issues, zones are still down all the time, performance is very bad, etc.
The primary good thing I have to say about the state of the game right now is the skill system is pretty awesome - which could be a promising premise for the future.
Further than that, proceed with caution.
Dont get me wrong - I want the game to survive and hope it blossoms in to a great game someday - especially because I love Sandbox MMO's and think there needs to be more. But the current state of the game is very bad. It's truly a shame that they had to release in this kind of shape =(

Go play Perpetuum! They client is free and subs are a mere $10 US. They game is fantastic and was released properly.
