My wife just asked a very good question:

"If we both want the game do we have to pay with both our kids?"  Because we only have one first born.  Any input?

Well I just checked with the managment and here is what they told me. Since your wife gave birth to both children she could trade the first born in for the CE. If you want one sir, YOU will have to give birth to a child as well. Damn bureaucratic red tape.

Ah to h@$$ with that S#!^ =) anyway good night everyone

but i really cant see people really paying out 150 bucks just because they can and want a statue.. :/  but again as others have said.. maybe will... OCD is a horrible aflection

Most CE's I have seen are around the 80-90 range. Got two from WOW sitting here looking at me.

ya i know i got CE dow 2 retrebution as well as CE spore and CE sims 3 along with a few others.  avg price for CE is 60-90 bucks (atleast here anyway) i just figured i would balance out the price. as the figure site has mostly 80-100 alone for a bust.  thats why i listed the price as such lol.

but i really dont see why anyone can actually argue that paying upto 200 bucks for a CE on any game is a worth while investment... once you crack the seal on the box (and everyone will) its voided half the value of that item soo resale value tanks

soo using "ill buy it and ebay it" as a reason to buy it, becomes foolish.  but im sure lots will buy it making it a hugely profitable investment for the companies making/promoting it all. still i remember a time when a CE of a game really came with jack all, just had a fancier CD or manual and cost like 10-20 bucks more over the default game lol... im scared if this type of CE becomes staple...  "WoW 3.0 CE with half chewed gum buy it today for $999.99 and get used office toilet paper from blizzard as a bonus" lolol

Really... 150 bucks... I can't afford that unless I stop eating a month.

Maybe eat half as much over a span of two months?   I agree that $150 for a video game is expensive.  I guess if they can sell out at that price good for them.

I remember paying £110 for Fatal Fury on the Neo Geo about 15 years ago lol

They are going to make a killing at $150 for the CE. And so will the people who will put it on Ebay a year later.

If only they let us choose from several statues(4+) and had them shipped later, that would be adequate. Because you know once you have a million people get the Malgus statue its value is not going to be much later on.

Tbh, there isn't much in that box I am really interested in. Maybe the music CD and the ingame vendor selling my grey stuff. I don't care about ugly Sith Lord figures. >.<

I was initially sticker shocked...if this is the CE price. I think I might break down and get it anyway.

LOL on the Neo Geo...those damn things were expensive in the late eighties. $150 or more a piece and the console was like 900 bucks....in the freaking  eighties. I was not fortunate enough to own one but I was one of the suckers who paid $600 for the panasonic 3DO in 94 or 95. Sad thing is..it was a great system with some great games (and too many really bad ones) It lost out ..rightfully so..to a cheaper system.,,never had a chance when everyone bailed for the PS1.
