    That's not true. I play EvE, Rift and Ryzom currently.

    I give MO a hardtime because the game is terrible.

    You do not have to be a fan to play a particular MMORPG.

     

    I know a LOT of people who HATE WoW for what it is, but play it because their friends do.

     yea my fault, there is another thread that is exactly the same topic that was psoted qutie a while ago that gets necroed every once and a while. Didnt realise they made a new thread on the same subject from a recent post which covered the exact same ground as beofre.

     

    Maybe Deathshroud the Dev team should listen to your advice and make a good game so there would be less complainers..

    whilst that is true opal, i beleive as the game progresses more content through territory control, more skills, more social systems, more dungeons and ai fixes and you will slowly see the negativity reduced from those forums, mainly because without negative postys on these forums there is nothing to feed the trolls over on mmorpg.com

    Like Slapshot I want Black Opal/Shinzon to grow some testies and come in here and put the grey areas in the light.

    I was hoping that Black Opal would have responded by now.  I mean, who would better be able to clear up the "grey areas" than him?  If you are going to ask normal players to go to a 3rd party site to defend your game you should have the guts to show up yourself. 

     

    I have narrowed down my top 10 questions for him.  I really hope he pops in!

    Coming from a game company that enjoy banning peoples from their forums for voicing their critiscism on the game i find that attempt laughable.   I agree with most peoples, people whine because the game just plain suck, if it was great peoples would be playing the game and not posting complaints on the forum.

    The fact that nobody has come to defend the game, other than two users who already post here to begin with, is a pretty clear message in itself about the sorry state that the game is in.

     Please take the time to read through the responses in this thread.  I think it is safe to say the "vast majority" of folks agreed with my post.  I didn't claim it was unanimous, because there will always be the 3-4 of you who feel differently.  In this case though, "vast majority" is easilly quantifiable.

    ill never buy or play MO, with the way the company/staff is  randomly banining any1 that tries to say wats wrong with the game or the fact in Patchs they let things go screwed up n force the playerbase to accept it. This is a crappy company ran by morons.  Reason i know this is i read the fourms n see every bit of content they released come to this webtsite with a flood of pissed off folks whos was angry their patch had more bugs in it then a alpha state game. This website they cant mod, and they cant ban any1 here. SV stick to ur dieing game and fourms, These ones are for real players who enjoy freedom of speech.

    Mortal Online is simply the best phantasy sandbox MMO on the market right now.  Handsdown.  It has a healthy population and the game has been live now for well over a year.  It's not failing.  It's thriving.  

    A lot of things are purposefully twisted by the members on these forums  to sound worse than they actually are and any positives downplayed to seem trivial.  This is 100% true.  If a legitimate critic didn't like the game they would make 2 or 3 posts about how much it sucked and then moved on.  There are people on these forums who have made literrally THOUSANDS apon THOUSANDS of excessive negative posts about Mortal Online.  That's not just trolling. It's a metal problem.  

    I can't believe this post is over 7 pages long in less then a day. It just goes to show how Mortal Online can generate debate and friction between openpvp fullloot gamers and there butthurt victems.  Ultimately for anyone who hasn't played this game before I wouldn't believe anything posted on these forums.  Simply install the the game and play the free trial then make your own opinion about the game.  

    Never trust a screenshot or a youtube video without a version stamp!

    Ragging on Mortal Online seems to be more fun than actuallyplaying Mortal Online.

    Maybe the game has changed in leaps and bounds since I played it when it was first released, but I am getting this strange feeling that is hasn't...now why would I think that hmmmmmm *strokes goatee*

    You are right people do twist things...  Like the couple paragraphs you just typed.

    Legitimate critics don't like the game.  Google Mortal Online Review.

    And I think it has 7 pages of debate because the Mortal Online CM asked people to come here and make posts and he also said he tried talkiing to the CM here to have the forum more modderated that in itself in moronic.

    I have in other posts asked you hard questions about statements you made that were proven false and you never answered.

    LMAO... How many copies have been sold... 25000ish?  How many accounts are active now?...3-5000?  (including trials)  Loosing 80%+ plus in "niche" title within 1 year isn't thriving. Its barely surviving judging my SV recent actions and the reduction in staff.

    The sad part is, M.O. and DFO both have so much potential.  Unfortunately, until each game is sold and ran by a professional gaming company that potential can't/won't be realized.   S.V. needs to employ GMs that have zero interest in the game world.  NONE.  If you are going to have GMs actively involved in the game world they should be hosting GM ran events not doing favors for their friends.  Aventurine just needs to sell.  Tacos just has no clue how to successfully run/market a gaming company.  That isn't his fault, he is just over his head.  Great idea, short on talent to realize the dream.  Unfortunately, his ego gets in the way of business sense.
