Wow, this is crazy. I wish I knew a bit more about who did it and other info. Hopefully this isn't a mini 9/11 type thing. I have heard there are reporst of quite a few casualties. I swear, if this is about the Olympics I've given up on humanity.
Well, I work at IBM in basingstoke, about an hour from London. the train station is right next door, and it has been evacuated and cordoned off.
Also, Swindon and Brighton stations too.
The building I work in is actually classed as a High Risk building for terrorist attacks. So a lot of us here are talking about leaving.
Trouble is, I have to get the train home... but... no trains

This would have taken a long time to setup so I really don't see it being over the Olympics. Maybe G8 but I really think this has to be looked as a terrorists attack.

I don't see why they would even do this on day of G8. The focus is suppose to be more on poverty not Iraq. With this it will now turn G8 into the whole terror thing and make England as determined as USA is over taking these terrorists out.
But then again who knows what is in the mind of these terror dudes.

Well that settles it, its a terrorist attack Blair just said it himself.
Blair is leaving the G8 for a while to go to London and is then going back up to Gleneagle's later this evening to continue the G8, well if it was their goal to stop the G8 meeting they failed.

This is a horrible thing and the free countries of the world must not stop fighting these terrorists till they are alll dead. These people don't care who leads our countries they hate our beliefs and way of life and they will not stop until we are all dead no matter who is leading the free world. To blame this all on one man (Bush) is nonsense.
You are all assuming it's Al Queda (sp?).. It could very well be the IRA... We'll need to see how this unfolds...
And it could have very well been done by the government itself so that the people demand that Blair not worry about Africa and worry about Iraq instead. That way he makes you think it's you who is determining his course of action and not Blair himself. After all, it's easier being a dictator when the people think you're doing it for their benefit.

Please can we stop the America bashing and no i'm not American i'm British, lets stop being so narrow minded and look at the bigger picture. This attack would of happened regardless of America or not, maybe not at this time or in this form but it was only a matter of time until an attack happened. Our intelligence agnecies can only do so much before something slips through the net. Just be grateful it wasn't a huge attack like 9/11.
To blame an attack like this souly on America and Bush is just stupid, i have to say i dont like Bush or Blair for a matter of fact but i still dont believe that it is them to blame.
Earlier on the BBC a reporter said that some of their Arab agents who watch Al'Quida (sp?) activity said it was most likely them or another Muslim fanatical terrorist organisation i very much doubt that this is an IRA attack.
All we can hope from this is that it forces the government to bring about stricter Immagration and Assylum laws.
Oh and if you are uncapable of adding something mature please dont post because throwing childish insults back and forth is rather pathetic.
