This has to be the single most dumb thing I have ever seen about a video game.
Anyone who has more than a cursory familiarity with GTA in general and GTA:SA in particular is well aware that the entire point of the game is to be a criminal and engage in violence, pimping, murder, assassination, theft, etc .. in as organized or as random a fashion as the player sees fit. IT'S A REALLY VIOLENT GAME! Everyone knows that, Rockstar pulls no punches with this series. And that earned the game an "M" rating, which it deserved.
I really fail to understand why graphic nudity merits a different rating, a more mature rating, than the incredibly graphic and violent remainder of the game, I really don't get it. It's like the ESRB is saying "well, well, it's one thing to walk up to a hooker and beat her to death with a baseball bat, watching the blood splash out of her body while you take her money ... that's fine, but if you show skin or sex, well, now you're being naughty and you deserve an AO rating". Really!
This is a peculiarly American tale, really: in the USA, we're pretty much *fine* with incredibly graphic violence, but show some nudity and whoops, you've crossed the line. What rubbish this is. I completely agree with the editorial about this in today's New York Times.

All this controversy makes me wonder why Team America World Police wasn't also given an A rating (MA) instead of just an R rating... Cuz it had a sex scene with nudity and everything... and the two characters actually acted out maybe 20 Sexual Positions....
SO besides all of that and the huge amount of violence in the movie.. it seemed to be alright....
So why is Grand THeft any different?

Well although ive always thought of GTA as an inovative game series its never been my type of game.
I think it was already on the fine line between AO and M for awhile and this just pushed it over.
I didn't say he couldn't do whatever he wants. It's been obvious for a quite a while that En1gma doesn't have to play by his own rules.

Listen, it appears that EVERYONE is confused about what is going on.
Here is the story. It is accessable on the PC version. The sex scene is a mini game that was disabled last second. They completley took it out of the game. The code is still there.
The modder had to reverse engineer the codding that rockstar says they thought modders would never find (this is where the publicity theory is logical).
The reason they didn't tell ESRB is because it wasn't in the game, nobody should have ever seen it.
Second there is no nudity. All it is, is two clothed individuals bumping into eachother in sex positions. If you ask me, you can see that all over regular tv and dirty dancing.
Hillary clinton (aka. stupid bitch that wants to be president but will never happen) is making a big fuss out of this soley on gaining votes probably one parent or mothers in general.
When in fact, it is the parents fault that they are getting so strict on selling M rated games. Our lazy american parents have been getting the government to do their dirty work. For instance sex education. Now parents want the game industry to monitor who buys their games so lazy ass guardians of children don't have to bother.
I promised myself i would never come back to this site again due to all the retarded posters that havn't a clue about anything and think they know all.
Actually in the gameplay vid I have seen CJ is clothed but the girl is naked...

Trust me, I dont make my own rules and, as a moderator, I think I am very fair. But if you think my moderating stinks, then that is your opinion and that's fine.
About off -topic...yes it has gone off topic and we're gonna have to lock it (naturally, these threads usually die off to the second and third page but I think we all can agree that the thread has been beaten to death by all sides of the issue.
Many good posts in here (whether we were in agreement or not many of the posts were nicely done)
