You bet chief, this is the weekend I believe they mentioned. It's now about 10pm there so perhaps we will get an email tonight, perhaps not. The longer we wait though, the longer they have to keep fixin' it up so I'm really in no rush.
The release date on this site is to be ignored I believe. Let's hope KFR or Kanoth pops in for one of their welcomed updates.

I know it's difficult, but try and be patient. They are obviously having troubles right now. Getting yourself worked up over it won't help anyone, including you. I wish I could play too, but I just check my email and go on with life.

Anyways, it seems there have been problems of some nature, so server probably won't be up until next weekend. Even if I'm not due in the next wave, I hope the problems get solved soon. The sooner this wave gets in, the sooner I can get it.

I chug barrels of beer but unfortunately I play online rpg's and cheerleaders don't dig that. IF they did this would be a perfect world, wouldn't it.

Our strategy is to work on each feature's implementation on Alpha, then add it to Beta for a bit of intensive testing and then, when we're all happy with it, we add it to the Gamma server, where it needs further testing to ensure nothing has messed up along the way. Now we wanted to add the contest winners in just as we made the Gamma server available - frankly we'll soon need its greater capacity to cope with the growing test team. However one thing led to another and we kept having to postpone the Gamma rollout. Now it's looking like it's going to pretty much coincide with a major client update that we're also about ready with. So we've decided to wait until all the heavenly bodies are in alignment - in other words when both Gamma's up and the new client update has been patched out - before we let the contest winners in. Please do accept my apologies contest winners but to be perfectly honest you haven't missed much - the test has been pretty spotty over the last couple of weeks largely due to us thundering around breaking things. I'm afraid it seems that we're in obsessed with breaking things at the moment - the more we break now, the less breaks later. You can get addicted to bug squashing. I really can vouch for that. Anyway, thanks again for the patience. The client update should be patched out during the coming weekend and the Gamma server is due to be made available during the following weekend and I honestly can't see us letting much get in the way of those deadlines. By way of a more substantial apology for the delay we'll issue a beautiful bronze shield to the Gamma server characters of each contest winner as and when they manage to finally join us in the game. With a bit of luck I'll even let you hit me in the face with it.

We're installing the hardware for the gamma servers on thursday but due to the fact that we use some pretty cutting edge stuff (dual-core opterons running AMD64 optmised code), we're still facing a fair bit of configuration before we can run the gamma server up fully. We are still hoping for it to be available for the coming weekend but depending upon how things work out for us there might be an additional delay of a couple of days or so. As soon as we have a firm idea on when gamma will be available I'll pop back here and let you know - the contest winners will be added in straight away at that time.

Since there's already been more than enough delay we've decided to add the contest winners in without further ado. Until Gamma becomes available there's still plenty to do. Contest winners will be able to download the client, access the secure forums, use the wiki-based documentation and test the Beta server.
I typed my username in (long story short: I registered on the RV forums long before this contest started; with another--different from MMORPG.com--email. So I used that username. If you all get something from Constantine, that is me.)
I filled out my first and last name and my computer specs. I didn't download or sign an NDA, though.
