I am not so sure about it being a Secret World clone. In some ways it almost makes me think more along the lines of the Civ series reimagined as a Blizzard MMORPG.
Games are about detailed implementation. People haven't seen even a single screen shot yet. Judging a game just based on incomplete information about the backgound?
You may as well say Eve is a clone of STO because both are set in space with space ships.

Name a game that actually does this. People screw each other over in PvE only games all the time, the difference is you can't kill them for it.
The only time traveling I have experienced in secret world was the instance with the vikings and native americans...the darkness war or something. In Titan if they are emphasizing on the time traveling this might mean that they are going to use this for more than just a way to tell a story. Maybe it will actually be used a gameplay mechanic?

By this logic i guess you'll never play video games ever again. Its like saying after you played doom theres no point in playing any other FPS games since I already have played it or no point of playing starcraft or any other RTS game since I already did that with Age of Empires.
Blizzard's entire legacy is built off of blatantly copying other games. This really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Blizzard hasn't had a truly original IP ever. What they're known for is not innovation, but rather taking what's already established and polishing the crap out of it. This is a large part of why a lot of former Blizzard devs left, they wanted to do something new, not something popular that was just a rehash of games they've already done / played.
They've made some really great games, but this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Least of all Blizzard.

Hehe, strange, how do you know what I did ? Actually it is true 99% of RTS are not worth playing, same for shooters. Just different skins but same gameplay.

The Diablo IP is, for the most part, an original IP.
There are very few games that are all original. Anything with Orcs .. well that is Tolkien. Dragons are part of every cultures mythos, same goes for vampires (or creatures that feed off the life essence of others). Elves ... nope those are Old English/Scandanvian folklore. Faeries come from lots of different places. Space themes could be taken from many different literary sources. So every game borrows from somewhere or everywhere, it is just the nature of the beast.

So? They made good fun games (to me). i wouldn't care less if they are the first to come up with orcs.
Games are not only being original, implementation, and plish are much more important. Heck, I am playing Bioshock Infinity .. great game .. lots of fun. Is it entirely original? You shoot guns .. i have done that 10000 times in past games .. and it is still fun.
Its so funny to read what you apes are writing....the information is so vague their is no way you can have any idea what this game will be like.
Their is one thing I know for sure, it will be a financial success just like every other game blizzard makes. They could make an exact clone of secret world, super mario, or tetris if they wanted and it would still make a ton of money.
Blizzard knows what they are doing they prove it time and time again

They do make fun games, but they do way more than steal "orcs" or "shooting guns". I have very little respect for Blizzard as a creative force. Just compare some of the Warhammer units with those of Starcraft. No one should ever get rich off of minorly tweaking someone else's hard work, but it seems to happen a lot. It's just that Blizzard is the most obvious offender.
Unless of course, you believe the rumors about Blizzard developing a project for Games Workshop.
In that light, Bioshock is very original. It's just part of a genre where games play the same. BIg difference.
Guys, Girls, People, I said it was a TSW clone just to piss on the people over the years that called every MMO a WoW clone, So just like that because this game seems to be set in real Earth just like TSW this makes Blizzards Titan is a TSW clone.
Oh the irony is funny, I wanted to see how many people turn a blind eye when it comes to the mighty Blizzard.
But back on the subject, this might not be true, this dude can be full of shit for all we know, however I must admit it does sound pretty cool, I know one thing, Blizzard knows how to make games and if any company can pull off a TSW clone better that would be Blizzard.

We don't know, and haven't seen shit about Titan yet. Wish people would just forget about it. Blizzard has the budget to market the crap out of this when it's time. They also have the budget to completely re-design the game over and over until they're happy with it.
Just look at Diablo 3. They cut 90% of the game out before release because they weren't happy with it...

Time travel hmmm phasing v3.0 ? landmass like never seen before ? makes me wonder, client size 2000 gigs ?
just hoping they are really making something BIG,money should not be a problem there.
Let's internet
It does sort of ask the question, game involving Earth are now going to be Secret World knock offs?
As for Blizz Graphics. I'm looking at a Blizz graphic in an Advert right now and her name is Sarah Kerrigan. She's looking pretty bad ass to me.

If and really IF that rumor is true then it stops here being interested for me. I do like my E-Sports games but they are not within the MMORPG genre.

I am no damn dirty ape!
Not a clone.
Doesn't sound like a clone.
Trolls just be trolling.

So.. fiction based on history = tsw clone?
lulz
Why not every fantasy MMO=WoW clone lol
Anybody else read the part about time travel and get TOTALLY turned off by that.
I'm not going to claim i was excited about Titan in the first place, but any chance it had of getting me to play it just went straight out the window.

Perhaps you're to much thinking about stargates or deloreans, it doesn't have to be that way
Isn't there timetraveling in WoW?
