Not saying you cheated but I have worked in the corrections field and guilty people spend a lot of time talking about how innocent they are on any forum they can find. If you really are innocent, you will get your account back. This is being done for the good of the game. This gold seller thing is worth putting peoples account on a 72 hr ban to get this fixed. The economy in this game needs to be fixed. SE is showing they have the balls to take action and fix what the gold sellers have broken.
Apparently my account has been suspended for botting, use third party software, and other cheating. No one else has used my account and I did not cheat in any way.
So, apparently, there is to be an investigation. If they really investigate, they'll find I didn't cheat.
So, I suspect, because I was doing well, malicious people reported me as a cheater. Is this all it takes to get someone's account suspended? That's griefing.
Anyway, if I don't get my account back complete with all my money and items from before this suspension began, I'm done with this game. There's no reason to work for something if it can just be taken away like this.
This always seems to happen with players who buy these games from this company and that's why I NEVER EVER buy there games. If you invest lots of time and do well to be told you cheating must suck! I would suggest you try and get your money back and move on as if you bought it with a credit card like I do with all games now and then if the game does not do as advertised I apply to get a refund from the credit card company and have never failed to recover any money to date and have done this three times thus far.

You came to MMORPG to complain about a ban/suspension of up to 72 hours for investigation and throw a fit on a place where:
A) No one actually cares.
Most people don't even play the game.
C) No one has any ability to help you.
The only actual purpose this has is to somehow cast the game in a bad light when less than ONE TENTH OF A HUNDREDTH of a percent of population received some sort of disciplinary action.

I missed 5 days of progression and sales so far, particularly on a big weekend when I would have advanced to selling 2 star items. Even when they finish their investigation, they're not going to pay me back what I've potentially lost in this early, critical time period.
Taking things seriously is good. I'd imagine taking this seriously would include preparing for such a contingency as this and having the software framework intact to know if they have to suspend people BEFORE they suspend people. They didn't, and that means they are inept.

Okay this thread has gone on from some time, there is actually plenty of information going on with this at the moment. In short, even if you didn't directly cheat you may have indirectly came into contact with funds or materials that were gathered/funded using either malicious programs (Bots) or gold that was farmed, or traded between accounts linked to RMT.
In short, your account may of just been flagged as an account which has had a link with RMT even if yourself didn't directly cheat, SE have no way to know if that is the case without doing an investigation.
Does it suck for you? Yes it does, is it SE fault? No, not really considering they are banning the people doing the RMT that are being reported. The ones harming the community with RMT at the moment are people with insecure passwords.
You have to 'buy' the game to get on it to play, an expense that Gold Sellers don't often take for advert purposes. It is much easier (and cheaper) to hack peoples accounts and do their spam from there.
Hopefully all will be addressed soon, and please please people if you can't be bothered to change your Fking password to something more secure, or even on a regular basis PLEASE get the security token. You owe it to yourself AND it's free! Christ!

Made that point yesterday in the other thread about RMT and bans. I explained how Mattatron could easily be caught in in the web that SE uses to intentionally trap RMT buyers since he was so active in the markets.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt in that thread. Now? Nah. He's guilty.
As for where else can he complain? No where. I don't remember how complaining ever moved the ball forward when dealing with a ban. Just because someone excels at something doesn't mean they didn't use illicit methods. See how easy that frame of argument is? We don't know. If it's anything like what they did with the RMT Pwner in FFXI - they intentionally let bots go to catch the full chain of transactions. Then they ban hammer the crap out of everyone in the process. Incidentals have gil confiscated and I'm sure there's a small micro fraction of innocent people caught up in it.
I rather doubt that Mattatron is one of the extreme few.

I think they are doing great job. As you can see in game that GIL from sellers are much expensive. From few dollars its now 30$.

Yes, that is 367,700,000,000 gil that is frozen right now. Over a quarter trillion.
Made that point yesterday in the other thread about RMT and bans. I explained how Mattatron could easily be caught in in the web that SE uses to intentionally trap RMT buyers since he was so active in the markets.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt in that thread. Now? Nah. He's guilty.
As for where else can he complain? No where. I don't remember how complaining ever moved the ball forward when dealing with a ban. Just because someone excels at something doesn't mean they didn't use illicit methods. See how easy that frame of argument is? We don't know. All I can do is look at what I see here and make a judgment on his character - which I'm less than impressed with at the moment.
As for onus of proof? SE doesn't need to share one single thing. They *should*, but they don't have to so I suppose they chose not to. Sucks, but it's pretty standard.
Still a fraction of fraction of a minute segment of the population. Hardly even worth discussing.
I like of the thousands of accounts suspended only a few hundred had their accounts closed. Make you wonder about the people yelling they really are innocent. This looks nothing like a blanket ban, this looks more like looking for people who were really guilty.
There was a duping bug.
If it's anything like what they did with the RMT Pwner in FFXI - they intentionally let bots go to catch the full chain of transactions. Then they ban hammer the crap out of everyone in the process. Incidentals have gil confiscated and I'm sure there's a small micro fraction of innocent people caught up in it.
I rather doubt that Mattatron is one of the extreme few.
anyways i said something about it here on the forums and people instantly said i either bought gold or i visited gold selling sites or phishing emails. it was hilarious how people said its my fault for buying gold and im a liar. point is if u just wait awhile u will get ur account back and u should b good to go. get the token and u will b safe.
I think they are doing great job. As you can see in game that GIL from sellers are much expensive. From few dollars its now 30$.

when u finally get ur account back, scroll through the servers and check if there is a new toon on a server u never made. when i was hacked they only had my account for a couple hours. could have happened when u were sleepin. u never had to do anything.

well as i stated in my other post when i was hacked i said it was my fault. i should have had a token. se reported that "other companies" had their info leaked and if u used the same log in info u could b hacked. when i called se the guy said something has happened to have thousands of people banned in a few days. se said "other companies". i think they were and just dont want to admit it. either way it was my fault for not having a token. i replied to the OP to let him know that his account will b fine not so u can flame someone for trying to help.
