I think everyone should stop worrying about the Cast and worry about what makes Warcraft Movie , a Warcraft Movie.
Is it the Large shoulder Pads ?
Or is it the Stories?
Because without it being CGI, I would think they will try to make Warcraft a more realistic movie with proper proportioned shoulder Pauldron and Armor, instead of the whole unique Warcraft feel.
Like how will they differentiate the Animated feel with Realistic Actors, the colors will be darker instead of colorful.
Would the world accept Warcraft with the armors and set pieces of LOTR that is more realistic than fantasy...
I think that would be the biggest question we need to ask ourselves.

I can't recall a video game movie that turned out to be a huge success, haha. Tron, was cool in 3d, but story was nothing stellar. The last Machinima Mortal Kombats were pretty nice.
Also there was a little known tax clause in his country for bad movies that was fixed a few years back as well. It was speculated back then that he was taking advantage of it.
What are you guys complaining about. I have seen work by all the named actors and they are all good. Rob Kazinsky was great in Pacific Rim. One big name A-lister, as some put it, might be good to draw attention to the film but The name World Of Warcraft has so much exposure a big name might not be needed. Even my 85 year old mother know World Of Warraft and not because I play it. Duncan Jones the director has not done to many movies but Moon and Source Code were both fantastic. You guys suggest this is going to be a bad movie but with Blizzard responsible as producers I think this movie could be huge. My only concern is it should have been made a few years ago but I am excited for it.
I bet the most actors they asked, just dissaggred after reading the movie script. Almost every game which got movielized is just top trash. I am really asking who is writing this stories for them.
Actually Ben Foster and Travis Fimmel are both pretty good actors. Vikings was a excellent tv show and Ben Foster in Alpha Dog was top notch! I'll give this a watch.
Wow, it's a whole bunch of actors that I...I... who the hell are these people? Not a single one of those names rings a bell.
Also, I've said it before and will do so until blue in the face: Live-action movie = FAIL. Fail, fail fail, fail. FAIL. Why would you do that?! People love Blizzard's CG stuff, not live action junk with cruddy CG effects! Furthermore much of the costume design will have to be toned down significantly from the actual in-game pieces, since the 'oversized' look of much of the gear simply wouldn't translate to a live action format.
It's going to be the Wing Commander movie all over again, I just know it. Bunch of b-list actors combined with shoddy directing, shoddy special effects, shoddy acting, shoddy costuming...
A CG movie would be something to be excited about. With this, about the only thing I can look forward to is seeing what Mike Nelson & the gang can do with the Rifftrax.
OMG you had to remind me that i watched that movie >.0

I'll probably watch this movie but no way in hell I'm seeing it in theaters. Can you imagine the smell?

I guess no actor with a name wanted to take part in this farce, so they had to approach the less popular ones.
It may also have to do with the production costs. For the money of one superstar you can get a complete b-grade cast.
However A or B-grade, the movie is bound to fail either way.
Uwe Boll was laughed out of Blizzard Ceo's office when he came to offer to buy the movie rights.

He wouldn't even need that much CGI. Win Win for the studio :-)
LOL right? Yeah, I can't stop laughing.
If you want a new idea, go read an old book.
In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.
