As reported via the GW2 Subreddit, a user has datamined something that is raising some eyebrows.
Now, either this is a hoax, an April Fools prank or things are about to get very interesting in the GW2 camp.

Honestly, if they did implement something like this in the west... why should I care? The game is imminently playable without it and what it gives you is not worth even a small monthly fee. If they want to get over spenders to fund the game for me...

It is true, but it is only for China. It is also still in experimental stages. This won't be happening in the West, as it says in the post. This kind of payment model is fairly common in the East and GW1 had a different model in the East as well. (Time cards I believe)
I blocked that out of my mind and this had to remind me that it existed.
This whole VIP thing is chinese thing even Blade and Soul has the same system with tiers and perks

Soooo why is it written in English?
We all know by looking at the same quarterly reports GW2 earned only 10% more than AION, and 1/3 of what Lineage made. They could use the cash
Did you know GW1 sold game time cards in Asia?
I doubt Arenanet peeps can write in mandarim.
Did you know that only 10% more that AION is more than EVE makes and CCP is a company twice the size of Anet?
