I went in without expectations (wasn't really even interested in ESO tbh), now i'm just waiting for my paycheck to pre-order :)

I read reviews as pass-time, but i don't care what other people think, specifically paid reviewers. I judge games for myself.

I pre-ordered the physical Imperial Edition, but will most likely cancel it and go for the digital standard edition. The game is not that great and will probably keep my interest for one or two months, just to get to max level and explore the endgame content.

I have preordered digital standard edition with significant, 25% discount. While not driven by hype, after trying beta the game does meet my expectations. So I will stay there for at least 2~3 months. After that it depends on end game.

    I bought the digital CE.

I'm going to buy the imperial edition, just waiting to see if I can get a promotion in the next few weeks.

Everything considered I enjoyed the beta and preordered the imperial edition right after dieing at level 8. I actually had to pay attention to what I was doing. At least more than what I am used to in an MMO.

I especially like the skill system, the combat and that crafting is actually useful from the beginning.

Love the monthly fee also, will keep the kiddies, haters and cheapskates out.

so you are hating on Wildstar and being a kiddie fanboi of ESO and accusing other people of being haters, cheap and kiddies?

    /sigh

I am undecided. When I see a glimpse of a F2P model in the next weeks, even just a glimpse ... I will not buy it. Because it is very certain that it is going F2P very fast.

I brought the digital imperial edition.  I was planning to not get it after testing a while back, but after the last beta I feel it's a pretty good game.  I may just end up being suckered again, but at least I was having some fun with the game.  If it's fun then it's worth it.  I'd rather pay a subscription anyway.  I just hope the cash shop doesn't go to crazy.

Not only I will avoid this game like the plague, but I will also urge everyone I know not to buy just because of the terrible precedent it wants to set.

Got to admit I'm flabbergasted by the reaction to the Beta just made a post about it,but regarding this topic I'm waiting to try Wildstar but ESO is now on my radar,Wildstar will need to be special but still no key so still waiting to test it so can't really comment on that score.

Moments later they let you engage it on your terms and do so with little regard of threat.  ESO is slightly better and yes the collision things is kinda of a sore spot for brief moments (but not that bad, and has improved continously..... it is beta after all).

The thing that I think makes it for me though, is no game has had a environment that has drawn me in and actually enjoy its game world (Best looking MMO I've played to date and I've played all major ones in the last 10 years).  It's a little lonely at times, but I kinda like this type of adventuring loneliness because I feel connected to the world and genuinely want to explore it and I don't feel hand held like pretty much every MMO out there.

AvA is ....nda, but like I said I'm a pvp guy and its generally all I care about, but it's good enough for me to be buying into this game.

So who else was impressed enough with Beta (or Weekend Beta's) to purchase?

Your right the hate for this game is the worst I've ever seen. The funny thing is that the game is so amazing and fun. It's a shame how many people are going to miss out on an awesome game, because of all the negative publicity won't get it. I for one can tell you this game is HELLA FUN!!!! and I have already pre-order it.

I played beta and liked some of it. I wouldn't say I hated it or its a bad game, just not for me is all. I wont be buying it but I will keep on eye on it as time goes on. Never know what dev's will do.  :)
