Subbed for 6 months, and will probably resub when that one runs out.  Great game.  Not even going to bother  with all the haters on the internet.

So if you have installed ESO and don't bother with it ever again why are you still camping ESO threads and spitting poison? I understand that you got refund so maybe it's time to go on with your life now?

Gonna be giving them more money myself. Gonna un-sub on PC and Re-Purchase for PS4. Prolly would keep my sub on PC and not get the PS4 version, but my laptop isn't playing the game to well.

Subed to the game for 6 months and will continue thank you.

For me it is one of the best fantasy mmo gaming experiences I have played since Dark Age of Camelot.

Probably wants to mitigate the rampant fanboism and the "not happening to me or my guildies!...much" bug stance that seems to be going around. Why? To prevent someone from reading this thread, or any other with its scope, and being fooled into buying a game this broken... I mean Christ even Rome 2 Total War launched with less bugs than this ( different genres I know but go look it up anyway ).

There's something wrong with this game (or myself) when I have my first month of ESO and a 10-year-old PS2 RPG which I haven't finished, yet I play the PS2 game more often than ESO.

    I just can't describe it.

Stance? So what "stance" should people take if they are not experiencing bugs? Just making it up and claiming that they did anyway? Then again, judging by the way you post that probably would be better in your eyes. After all it would help offset the "rampant fanboism" going around and maybe get some actual angry clueless trolls since we surely don't have a single one of those around.

See ? This is what I mean... It is a bloody game... I've played EVE-Online before going on hiatus for near on a decade and I'd only defend it when people were flat out wrong objectively not from personal experience. People running around claiming anyone that says negative things or, god forbid, does a tally and shows all the possible bugs one person may encounter in the game, is a hater are people that need to realize this is a game and it is gonna die if things progress like this regardless how few bugs you or your guildies may see when there are massive issues for others which not only make them quit but spread the experience around and stop people from buying the game and your defending it so vehemently is doing nothing but harming the game because A) MMORPG.com may be filled with "haters" but a game community which hates critics is toxic; B) the developers may not fix some bugs or may even go about fixing them wrong because some of the people experiencing them are glossing them over.

This is a black and white assessment? Long term subscriber or hater?

What about all the people who have expressed legitimate complaints or is there no such thing?

Rampant fanboisim? Get a grip already. Anyone who is getting tired and sick of same trolls in every single thread are now fanbois?

Edit: Of course there are bugs and some are even game breaking for many but that wasn't about bugs here. So go and hate someone else.

So a thread about subbing, resubbing, waiting, etc, isn't a place to expose the game's many flaws and its few shining features? Wow..just...wow... btw a video game is a thing not a person, you made my case there for people taking things way way too seriously and defending something too much.

I don't see anyone saying ESO should be shut down.

I see a lot of empassioned people who WANT to see the game succeed. People who WANT to see the game thrive and be worthy of the sub. Currently there is a seemingly increasing majority who feel that whilst the game COULD be great, it's not worthy of a monthly sub and who could blame them.

This launch started out superb imo but the wheels DO appear to be falling off as time goes by....the stability, bugs, all of it should be getting better and better not worse and worse.

1 more month. Unless my friends decide to stay and we all guild up and do stuff together. Besides, end of next month Watch Dogs comes out and that should hold my interest for at least a month.
  • HorusraHorusra Member EpicPosts: 4,411
I have not seen stability going down. I do see the usual new mmo lag that comes at high volume times. Bugs are being handled as found. Some need to be worked on faster, but this has been 1 week and I have no idea the actual work needed to fix some. Game mechanics like vamp and were bites are something being player caused and will take experimentation to fix. Same with gold sellers and bots...bots actually seem less since patch.

Some of those bugs have been around since beta....stop trying to apologize for the game because it isn't "week 1" it is "the devs couldn't be arsed to fix everything but wanted moneyz anyway".

I'd change my answer if I could. Though technically you had to sub regardless so I guess it makes sense.

I'll probably last only the free month. Many things really ruining it for me. Been in beta/psijic for about a year so there's certainly that- the "new" of it is pretty old to me. Then there's my distaste for quests, especially when I've already done them many times and never enjoyed quests to begin with. Minimal grouping so far and no one really cares to talk to anyone. And none of my friends will play :(

Overall a solid game, just not what I'm looking for. It's neither a strong single player game nor a strong MMO. It's just kinda meh in both areas.

Agreed.  I was playing for like 3 hours straight with no problems.  Was thinking to myself "wow, maybe they finally fixed the bugs".  Then.....then I tried to turn in a quest.  The compass said the dude was right here...RIGHT HERE!!!  But there was no one there.  NO ONE!!!  "Stay calm...just stay calm....he's around here somewhere.."  But he wasn't he wasn't anywhere.  NO WHERE!!!!

Okay the phasing broke just need to log off and log back in......  "10 SECONDS TO LOG OFF?!?!?!  10 SECOND!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!"  Finally got logged off then I had to login.  "OMG LOGIN FASTER!!! OH YOU MAKE ME WAIT 10 SECONDS TO LOG OFF AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME WAIT 10 SECONDS TO LOGIN?!?!?!?!"

FINALLY I got back in the game and turned in my quest. Sure it was only 20 seconds to fix my bug last night but I raged every second of it.  Hours later I'm still shaking....

Some bugs have and some have not. Stop being a hater and being all or nothing.
  • MaltisseMaltisse Member UncommonPosts: 34
@OP - Other, got refunded, lvl 46 stuck on story quest for one week, no way out and multiple tickets with no response from ZOS customer support. I know they are backlogged with issues but, I will not put up with this on a $59.99 purchase. Game was not ready for release, should have taken a few more months to cook than the game may have been realistically playable.

I am not a hater I am just pointing out that for 25+ euros (depending on the edition +/- sub) this shit shouldn't fly, people should be nailing the developers to a wall because the game was pay to play and the client was allot of money as well and the type of bugs they have I haven't seen even in F2P titles ( personal experience here, I just haven't, I've seen bad but I have not seen bank eating items or falling through the world, or anything like that ).

Falling through the world has been in about ever game I have ever played single or mmo. Bank thing needs to be fixed, but we do not know the work behind fixing it needed. The use of sub or box fees means games should not have issues is laughable. What it means is they should be working to fix the issues not slapping themselves on the back thinking the game is done and they can open up a new project. If I do not see bugs getting fixed every patch or feel ZOS just does not care I will not sub.
