I think some of the whiners here are blinded by their own hatred for the game that they cant even handle simple reading comprehension anymore. Yes, it gets brought up in game. Posting screens of a single ongoing conversation really proves nothing. It is 1 conversation, which I'm wondering if you even bothered to read. It is about the actual issue, and wether or not people should be banned for it. Not "OMG game iz so broke. So much bugz. Will be f2p in 3 months lawlz" < that is what generally happens here.
The point he is trying to make is that the majority of the chat consists of people actually having conversations vs the forums here which are made up largely of the same people posting over and over and over in every thread, no matter how unrelated it is to the topic, how much they dislike the game, how broken it is, how its going to be f2p in 3 months, etc.
The forums have gotten to the point where you can barely even have a discussion about things like specs/ builds without it being trolled by the same kids about the same regurgitated crap that they spend hours every day posting about. Whereas in game people are generally having civilized discussions about things either having to do with the game, or just BS about other random stuff. Yes, complaints come up, but it does not take up the chat 24/7 and drown out any attempts to discuss anything else like it does here.
Regardless of whether you like the game or not, I'm sure we can all agree that the forum has pretty much become nothing but a breeding ground for angry trolls going back and forth constantly.
I think it was the invisible harvesting bot that ruined it for me.

I see that you love to generalise everyone who doesn't agree with you as a troll or a hater.
Like i said earlier i can even give you screenshots of people talking about F2P, rants about bugs etc. its not even difficult. I just have to log in and there it is.

All of these things most certainly are discussed in guilds, in general chat, and in groups. When you insulate yourself in groups of like-minded people in the game you get a singular opinion. These message boards provide a cross-section of people with varying opinions.
You are still failing to understand the basic concept of the post. Doing a wonderful job of proving my points even further. Did I say these conversations never happen at all? No. I could just as easily go in game and cherry pick screenshots of the chat where people are asking questions, discussing other things, trolling eachother with mom jokes, etc. Does that magically make me completely right and you completely wrong?
It wouldn't matter anyway though because you're so wrapped up in your anger and need to be right that you're still unable to see the point. Just "IM RIGHT DAMMIT". Maybe one day you'll be able to understand enough words strung together to comprehend my saying that BOTH types of conversations ARE happening, but unlike the forums it is not made up pretty much entirely of every conversation turning into a hate filled complaint & troll fest.
He showed hard evidence to counter the OP. There is no "cherry pick" here. You would need to provide copies of chat log queries from the databases showing how such conversations rarely ever took place at any level anywhere in the game. That's a difficult task to say the least. But that's what happens when someone calls you out on sweeping generalizations.
It is perception coupled with preconceived notions. If I know about bugs and watch chat and if in ten conversations 4 people talk about it I might consider it rampant. If I do not know about the bugs and I see 4 random people talking about it I would just think it is just chatter and place no significance on them. Everything is dependent on perspective if you are very aware of some things it will tend to be more prominent.
Similarly this is a gaming forum so topics here will discuss problems because there is no playing here to distract you like in game here we discuss the game and with it its problems.

I don't know why you are so bent on trying to make it look like i am angry when i am actually smiling and shaking my head while reading OP and your posts.

At first there was no one talking about this stuff and according to OP it is fairly black and white in game. Then after i post screenshot you tell me one single conversation hardly mean anything, when i offer to give you more rants and lot of angry people's chat from ingame you tell me i will be chery picking conversation....lol.

And you're denying that it's possible for others to have completely different experiences. It's a fact that the loudest complainers in this forum have camping here since well before release; many have not played the game at all. Many of the complaint posts are simply compilations of other complaint posts. This factor is absent, for obvious reasons, from people playing the game. And it results in a radically different sort of conversation.
If you go through posting histories and week out people with obvious agendas you see that the forum discussions are driven by people not playing the game. This is very different from, say, Total War Rome 2 - where the angry people discussing it were clearly people playing the game and getting frustrated by the bugs. Some game players are unhappy, and that's utterly typical even for relatively clean releases. But the toxicity around this game has a huge bandwagon component that is externally driven.

I never claimed anything using words like 'no one' or 'its all very black and white'. Any person with common sense knows there is nothing black and white in game or on forums or anywhere else in this world.
Yes, yes. We are all in extreme denial and refuse to acknowledge the game's issues and that people talk about them in the game.....

BTW, yes, it is cherry picking. It is a screenshot of the particular type of conversation which you (for some odd reason) are still trying to prove happens in the game, when NOBODY is denying that the conversations do happen. I could say "ESO is full of nothing but people comparing it to WoW", then go get screenshots of someone bringing up WoW and argue that because it happened there the entire chat is constantly full of that same talk. Does that mean that it is? Of course not. But apparently, because it's you, it works the opposite way.
Selective screenshots only prove that they were happening at that particular time. You're not covering the entire rest of the chat where people were not talking about the issue and were discussing other things instead. You leave that whole part out but then see dupe talk and right away it's "ooh gotta get screenshot to prove that its constantly being talked about", when it does nothing to prove that.
I really don't know what is so hard for you to grasp when it has been explained several times by me and the OP. Nobody is saying there is absolutely no talk whatsoever about the game having issues. You seem to be obsessed with that, when that isn't even the discussion.
What the OP was saying, and what I have tried to clarify for you, is that people are ALSO having plenty of other discussions that are not constantly filled with angry trolls spewing nothing but hatred for the game derailing nearly every conversation into a "QQ this game sucks and my life sucks because of it" conversation like we have on the forums. Nearly every thread gets turned into a bunch of kids whining about how much they dislike they game or bringing up other unrelated issues.

Then the entire thread evolving into back and forth about how much duping there is, people being banned, etc. Nothing to do with the OP and his concerns about being a casual and PvPing.
This is the case with the majority of threads.
BTW: OPs use of terms like nobody and no one are pretty clearly generalizations. It is very rare for people to use those terms literally. You should know better by now. Especially on forums.
It's just the way forums work. People rarely come to them to praise a game, most people just play rather than worrying about convincing others it's fun. When someone feels they got ripped off or don't like the game, they feel the need to try to make everyone agree with them, which doesn't happen, and causes forum drama in every forum.
The best thing to do? Play the game and enjoy it, balance out the shouting of bad with affirmations of good that are actually true rather than whatever bile the drama queen is kicking up currently. Meanwhile, most people are just going to be playing the game anyway, blissfully unaware of a couple of people complaining on a forum somewhere.

If you are not even going to bother to read the OP and worse even if you did read and continue to twist the meaning to suit your argument then this discussion ends right here. OP clearly mentioned that it is pretty much black and white in the game. All nice talks happen in game and all the anger rage happens only on forums..thatw as the gist of his post.
Which is absolutely BS. As far my screenshots go..i posted one continuous discussion. Why the hell would i sit for another hour reading that nonsense only so that i can give you screenshots of people talking about how they love to braid eachothers hair and and like to chase fluffy bunnies?

I think you are pretty confused at this point and mixing up two very different posts.
OP believe its all black and white and there is only lovey dovey nice chat happening in game.
I believe that is BS because along with all the lovey dovey chat a lot of rage and anger also happens in the chat.
This is the simplest breakdown i can give to you so that you are not mixing up things again.
