Really??? These threads are getting tiresome. How many AA is or is not p2w threads are there going to be?
Enough already, find one of the many aa p2w threads and post there.
They just added archaeum trees to the cash shop. Now you can grow your own archeum needed for the best gear in the game using your credit card!!!
But totally not pay to win, I assure you!!! REALLY!

Yea I believe if you read the post I just made that gear can be obtained in 56 hours of straight up farming. If you're lucky enough to have someone to trade with so you can get a real set and not a mixmatch set. However I'd like to learn how you got started without paying anything. Unless you got the apex when it was 35 gold each. That would explain a few things but even then you are saying you have paid over 7k gold on apex. How did you make such money?

I think he means his post is not for the fans with blind folds. They won't see anything wrong with the game.
Moreover didn't you claim that AA has only 5% forced PVP in another topic. So you sure you even play the game?
It's not for you (for reasons TheStrain stated). I never said it wasn't for people that play the game. That you happen to play the game as well is but a mere coincidence.
They moved thunderstruck trees - a random but highly valuable drop - into the cash shop.

So, the moral appears to be that they can take anything valuable in the game and sell it in the cash shop (with no notice)...
this matters for reasons that go beyond the relevant item. If you have a player-driven economy and something becomes perceived as useful people build their strategies around it. If they just turn around and sell these things in the shop it ruins those players financially. And it creates a really perverse set of incentives: if something is useful in game, just wait and it'll be available on your credit card in a few weeks.

So how does that make the move P2W .....thunderstruck tree were worth 500g and only the hard working and rich could afford ...now anyone can afford a thunder struck tree ? ....Explain how that's pay to win?
the fact you haven't a clue as to what rumbling archaeum saplings do ,,,is more a reflection of your post history then anything else but again I'm sure that taking something that cost 500 gold and making it available for 100 g is P2W ...just not sure how ?
I had been holding onto my thunderstruck tree to wait for demand to rise. This unannounced CASH SHOP chest has destroyed the value of this. With my limited time to play from work, this has destroyed my motivation to even log in. Am now looking into other games. There have been numerous other fails by this company as well up to this point. Just the last straw.
For anyone still interested in this game, it is PAY TO WIN. Be prepared.

As for why it's P2W, I could explain, but I see no point in explaining it to you. My posts aren't for you, I don't care what you think is pay-to-win or not, and I don't care whether or not you know what pay-to-win is. However, I will be benevolent and provide you a wonderful link to a forum filled with posts on the subject of pay-to-win in this case. Whether or not it educates you on why this is pay-to-win, I don't care. But I'm feeling nice today so I will give you the tools with which to learn anyways. It is up to you whether or not to take advantage of my generosity, although I honestly don't care if you gain anything from this wisdom or not.

Because anything of actual value in-game can end up in a cash shop with no warning, eliminating its value? Because players put a lot of effort into getting them, and farming for them, only to have their investments erased for a cash shop purchase?
There is a world of difference between adjusting rarity and selling something for cash, no?

Actually we need these threads until there are P2W games. P2W is the worst thing in MMO genre.
Edit: I'm not against AA, I'm against P2W crap that threatens to kill my hobby.
Its a good thing that TS trees going down now. It was incredible unjustified to have relying lucky guys selling them for 1000g+ .
It would be also a good sign IF the game was really P2W cause casual plyers with a job can compete against the no job basement dwellers but unfortunately io dont see its p2w.
The hypothetical person that started the exact time like yourself and you race against and meet in a 1 vs 1 Arena to beat and win against just doesnt exist in 99,999999% of the cases.
