I think your wrong about this game. I like this game I have been in beta, I'm married and have a daughter and now I can just group up with people with no grind and play. I don't have to stay on for hours because I have a life and I can spend time with my family without worrying about competeting with other players in levels. It's a breath of fresh air for the more adult, career family person who just doesn't have the time to sit on a computer for 16 hours a day to level. I am looking forward to it.

You do understand that in the higher level quests (from what I am told) that the quests are going to take a long time to finish... like maybe 1-2 hours... and that you do not get any exp till you finish the quest... Just thought I would ask.. So if you don't have a lot of time to play, you won't get much done the higher you get in levels...

I played the BETA for as long as I could stand it. I felt bad having asked to be in the BETA, accepted into it, and not to help to some degree with it; therefore, I suffered through it for a good 2 weeks. I then stopped logging on but every now and again to see if they had polished it up any. Each time I logged on, I was sadly disappointed.
It got to the point where I couldn't bear to log on anymore, so I uninstalled that rubbish from my HD. Good riddance! Now please leave me be, obvious Turbine fanboy.

If you are looking for a "real" MMORPG, you better keep looking... There are no "real" MMORPGs out there. There are a lot of MMOGs, but you can forget the RP part.
Hehe, I agree with you there Ian_Hawkmoon. Not since UO have I seen RP'ing (UO's good old days that is). Although, saying that I do feel that DDO has some scope for RP'ing. Though I doubt many will actually bother.
I'm playing WoW atm (lvl 49 Night elf druid) and its geting kinda stale. i think DDO online will be a fun game it seems new (you get what i'm trying to say here) i think it will be better than WoW sure there will be some things that i will miss (AH for 1) but this game is not going to bad (IMO) so yeah...

Here is an even more entertaining prospect, let's have a poll to see if Lucablight would be excepted into Saintedone's guild. from his post above, even though he is trying hard to fit in and be a DDO fanboi, I would have to say no.
Honostly - I'm so glad that people like FullMetalAlc will not be playing DDO. Its those type of "whiners" that sabotaged away the fun from WoW, they just become bored when they want to do a dungeon/thing "their way" and then start yapping about their opinion and leave the group/guild. Now this thread has lost its quality and dignity because he decides to spam it with his own.
Its this reason why I want to get DDO and play with a mature group rather than bored kids/bitter adults who claim they like/love/addicted to WoW yet find the time to post strong narrated comments about their opinion over and over again.
I'm truly excited about this game! I also hope for "SaintedOne"s reviews do continue on the other thread. Thank you SaintedOne, and don't mind the sushi from WoW land!!!!

If you are looking for a "real" MMORPG, you better keep looking... There are no "real" MMORPGs out there. There are a lot of MMOGs, but you can forget the RP part.
