Hi all,
I'm looking for a WoW clone? that has really good graphics scenery, that you can play quests on, that has bosses.
I've played World of Warcraft for a few years.
Frankly not interested in guilds, or dungeons (all that much), or raids.
What I really enjoy, are quests, the scenery, solo bosses, armor and stats, spells, etc.
I play a Night Elf Feral Druid.
I mine to get gold, just reached lvl 90, and just really only interested in the graphics, scenery and playing quests.
I'll do a dungeon once in awhile, but ONLY if I can actually take my time and enjoy the 'story" without being rushed through it.
does anyone know a WoW clone that has these qualities? I don't care if its free or paid.
thank you!

is that elder scrolls online?
The Elder Scrolls Online or Final Fantasy XIV
You may also want to look into Single Player RPGs. Many of them have outstanding scenery and much better quests and gameplay than MMORPGs.

SWTOR and ESO would be my suggestions.
Both are very solo friendly with a focus on story, even more so than WoW since every single quest is voice acted, and you can choose your dialogues just like in single player games. SWTOR is a "WoW" clone in terms of gameplay, while ESO is action combat.
Obviously the settings are also vastly different. If you want to stick with the fantasy genre, then ESO is the way to go, if you feel like a more futuristic setting, then SWTOR.
Neverwinter online would also be a good choice. Just like the others it has a strong PvE focus, and you also follow fully voice acted storylines throughout the game (though less dialogue choices than you have in SWTOR & ESO).
TSW offers a similar experience as Neverwinter, except it's modern fantasy instead of DnD, and is more challenging.
All of them are either B2P or F2P, so I'd say check them out and see which one you like best.
Another fine choice. Also more action oriented, but the game also offers a good storyline with plenty of dialogues and choices, and some very beautiful scenery.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

Underlined/highlighted red: You might want to get into singleplayer RPG's
Other then that do you want a new game to have the same stylished graphics like WoW as that might be your graphic preference. Personaly I feel WoW looks really really dated but one thing I feel WoW does better even compared to most recent MMO's is that it feels as if your character is actually wearing armor, putting his feet on the ground when walking/running.
Like some already suggest if you still want it to be a MMOrpg you might want to try Elder Scrolls Online. Want to stay close to the the stylished graphics you might want to consider RIFT
I think you'll enjoy FFXIV. Beautiful scenery, tons of content for both solo & group and massively populated.
Not to mention there's an expansion pack coming in 2 months.. Now's a good time to start playing. (Unlike other games, you HAVE to finish the base game before you can continue the story from the expansion)
I'd recommend GW2 mainly because it is the one I'm still playing, I'm sure the other ones recommended are very valid choices as well.
The scenery is very good and interesting, there are lots of little things to find if you like to just go around and explore, and actually you gain XP by doing it when you're leveling. I've been playing since release and still finding new things in the open world.
The downlevel system has its fans and detractors (I'm a fan, BTW). Basically means that even if you're level capped, if you go to a level 15 area, you will be downleveled to 15. You'll still be stronger than a regular level 15 because you have access to more stuff (relatively better gear, more traits...) but not to the point where you would never die, you still have to be careful about who and how many stuff you fight, so the whole map keeps being relevant when you hit level cap. This has the added bonus that all areas in the game are more or less populated, unlike other games I've played where if the game isn't new, it'll be a ghost town until you reach level cap.
Some events you find are good, others are not, but most have histories and can be very funny at times (I stll chuckle when I do the event where you escort some scientists that are going to destroy a misterious device they got from an agresive race, and they finally destroy it turns out it was an alcohol still).
There are dungeons starting at level 30, though most PUG groups want all level 80s to make them easier, there are still groups found at the regular level and lots of guilds run dungeons for low levels (mine does regularly). There are 8 dungeons total, each with a story mode that ties to your personal story (for example, two character that are angry at each other go together at one point saying how they worked out their differences, that happens in one of the story dungeons)
Every 10 levels you advance your personal story that can be done solo until the last step where you must do a 5 man dungeon to finish it, but they're changing it soon so you can solo that last step as well. You can also do the steps with a group if you want to, though.
There are open world bosses, that can range from easily soloable veterans that are usually guarding a chest or a rich mineral veins, to champions that can be killed by small groups and drop a champion bag that has a small chance to contain unique skins, to boss events (most maps have at least one) that can take 50+ people to do, and range from very easy "show up, autoattack, get loot) ones to other ones that you'll need coordination from the whole map (100+ people) to take down. They're on a specific timer, so you know there will be a big boss to fight every 15 minutes if you want to (sometimes 2 spawn at the same time), some people call it the WBT (World Boss Train)..
Also, there's a new expansion coming "soon" (solid date still not announced, rumors point somewhere around july-october release) which actually made population increase in the last few months, or at least that's how it feels to me.
What can men do against such reckless hate?
Among the classic wow-clones, those points really sound like LotRO (relaxing quest-based gameplay with scenery). Rift is a bit too bland, Vanguard is closed, the rest is way too instanced - though I must say, AoC has some awesome sceneries too.
Here's a thread from the forum for some inspiration

FFXIV:ARR is the best game right now of this kind of model IMO.
