Bless is most likely just the newest korean world of warcraft clone. The fact its forced pvp, also means that the game is going to be dead in 6 months or less, due to griefers infesting it. If you want the game to survive, don't go around ganking newbies all day, grow a pair of balls and attack someone who can actually fight back, I dare you. Sadly the griefers won't dare attack someone who can fight back because they are bascally cowards.
Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:
A. Proven right (if something bad happens)
or
B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)

LOL you are one funny PvE Snowflake arent you? What if my MAIN CLASS is an Assassin? I hide in the shadows , I wait for the right time, I wait for all my BIG Cooldowns , and BAM stab you in the back and you cant do none since you're Silenced, Stunned and Dead by the time you realize you are getting ganked.
So your Argument is FLAWED! How can you say you can fight back, and do you really think an assassin would tell you "Hey I'm Behind you lets fight"
and how would you call PvE'rs noobs when Bless has a restriction of Level 30 to be able to participate in PvP, and the game will tell you before you enter an area that PvP is enabled. LOL!
You signed up for it meaning you know it.
Thats why I played Aion for 5 Years and Tera for 2 Years Because of its Open World PvP Style! Played Aion for 10 hours just ganking Outside Heiron outside Jeiparan village to farm Abyss Points, If there is INCENTIVE to PvP then it is worth it!
And that right there gives the game away. Your thread fundamentally isn't about Bless Online. It's about trying to build viewership for your YouTube videos. That is to say, it's an advertisement.
If your goal were to get your video in front of people interested in the game, you'd have posted it in the game-specific forum, where someone looking into the game might find it a month from now. Rather, you wanted to get it in front of more people, even though it will scroll off and be buried pretty quickly in this forum section.
To your credit, you're at least hanging around to talk about it. Far too often, I see forum accounts that have a handful of posts, often with clickbait titles, and every single one of them is a new thread basically saying, "please go watch my video".
Not really. Even if I were making this video 100% with Zero self interest, it would make very little sense to post it in a way that eyeballs don't get on it.
This video is Why You Should Play Bless Online, that isn't really aimed at the people that are already convinced. Most people going to the Bless forum to participate are already convinced. Thus I need to put it in a more fitting place, which is people that don't know or are on the fence.
I'm just trying to be as transparent as possible. I made a video to share with people on why I am looking forward to Bless, I want to inform people on the knowledge I have accrued on the game. To inform people on the fence or who aren't aware it takes getting eyeballs, and I would be a liar if I said I didn't want to build a viewership. What person who takes the time and effort to pour energy into creating content wouldn't? So to me it's a cheap jab to say things like that gives the game away.
What game? That's like saying you create games and you actually want people to play them! The game is up!
Ok, fair points. But why not just post the video here instead of making people leave the site? I usually watch the video when it's posted right in the thread. Leaving the site I rarely do. Just some feedback.
That's actually a fair point, and something I will most likely do next time. Thanks for the feedback!
For me there are three types of MMORPGs, with one exclusion - EVE. So Lineage 2 type - open world, FFA PvP, free trade, players driven wars and politics. WoW type - broken world, factions, safe PvP, limited economy. And middle type - DAOC. So what kind of game is the new Bless?
Lol Bless is like a clusterfuck of all these things except for free trade, and a little less on the politics. So it is a full open world like Lineage 2, PvP is 2 faction based but you can declare war on guilds of your own faction, it isn't free trade, Territory Wars are driven by guilds bidding and going to war over territories, and it has 3v3 arena's and BG's like WoW as well as similar PvE content.
And that's was cause them I think to make the "Fast Track" servers where you can't do that shit.
True! well but the main point of the fast track server is To level up quickly since everything you do on the fast track was Double Exp, there was still some quest where you have to go back to the original server to finish it.
I play on the fast track server when I level alts, then gear them up then come back to the normal server lol.
but back on topic at least Bless offers those Scrolls that makes you immune for 10 mins, I'll just stack up on those when I'm just trying to Quest and when I'm done questing and I just wanna PvP then wait for the Scroll to Wear effect then PvP, Simple as that! Problem fixed right?
Thanks for the video! I plan on being there day one!
Me too. Maybe we should group up. None of my mates are going to play this one.
Unfortunately the more I learn the more I'm sure I'll be passing on it.
The core designs, even if they turn out well done just aren't of interest to me.
So looks like we'll have to wait again for a game we might both play.
I thought it would be Camelot Unchained, but it's a fair assumption to think even Ashes of Creation will launch before that. Anyways, I'm up for (almost) anything. Although I have hundreds of singleplayer games in queue but I need an MMO in my life. Yesterday I found myself checking out Second Life! I fear for my health..

The only actual reason to check out Bless is that it will now be available in the Western market.
It has zero unique features and just serves as a generic MMO platform to drive microtransactions which is why it has failed over and over for 4 years.
The only reason Asian games focus on pvp is to slide in slot machine crafting systems where it is theoretically possible to spend an infinite amount of real world money yet never reach the stats cap.
The way this works in Bless seems to be RNG passive bonuses on pets and the typical casino RNG +99 gear upgrades which are systems that are absolutely toxic to balanced PvP.

I agree with the Pet System, the fact that it is about re-rolling their skills to get the passives you want is toxic gameplay.
The gear system actually wasn't broke by upgrades in the past. The upgrades used to only provide marginal increases in strength. The problem is actually with the new Rune system they implemented in JPN. It seems they kept Ability scaling off of Atk Power & Ability Power, as it was pre-rebuild.
However, they changed the way runes worked. It used to be that you could only equip Power runes on certain pieces of gear. However, now you can have as many power runes as you want. What happens is damage starts to ramp up at a crazy pace. But then it gets even worse. Once you Awaken an item through upgrades, you get 2 rune slots on the gear. Which means you can get even more Power. So damage is completely out of control.
PvP before optimized runes has a really healthy Time to Kill, afterwards it is terrible. Though, since this is a new system and they have received a lot of feedback on it, I am hopeful that it will be fixed for the Western release.
Balanced PvP isn't fun outside of an e-sports game though imo.
I'm ecstatic to play. Hoping to sink most of my gaming time in to it and actually get on the larger stage of GvG, territory wars etc
Yeah I am interested to see what the GvG systems end up being like. I only know of bits and fragments of how it used to play in the original version. GvG isn't implemented on JPN atm. Territory wars are though, yet I haven't participated in one.
Pretty game!!! No substance! That's why it keeps failing in other countries..... what makes them think it will be successful here?
There's plenty of substance in the game. It's first iteration was the only one to fail, in Korea and Russia.
This is not true, that was the 2nd iteration.
The first iteration was in Korea, this led to the firsr rework of Bless.
Actually the Russian and Korean version was the same, The Japan version got some rework, But the version coming to NA/EU is going to have more rework than the previous ones.
So what you see on the previous versions will not exactly be the same, someone explains it in this video.
I forgot to add something, I read on Reddit not sure if this is true but apparently in Korea some of the Koreans thought the game was too Western.

Anyone know if that's true ?
I don't have anything concrete to back this up, but that is a sentiment I have gathered about the Korean thoughts towards the game. Also, I have heard a lot about the devs wanting the game to be for Western audiences as well. And as far as the RU failure, from what I understand one of the main issues was the RU publisher making the game P2W.
The "original version" was what happened before Neowiz took the game offline for 6 months after horrible feedback from Korean players. At this point Bless only existed in Korea.
The original beta version only existed in Korea.
Sure the game was still in beta but IT DID go through major rework before it came back.
They didnt call the 1st rework anything, they kept it quiet but it happened.
After this is when they decides to take Bless globally.
So by the time RU got it - was after the major work was completed - aka 2nd iteration.
Yes that was after an actual CBT period, so again that was the first iteration. RU and Korean launch were the same game. You leave negative comments anywhere the game is mentioned, but you don't have to exaggerate the game's failures. The one failure in KR and RU is already big enough, and JPN isn't a failure but it's not like it's been a huge success either. So, it definitely doesn't need the misrepresentation on top of that.
It was the same AFTER the first major rework - aka 2nd iteration
The original Bless version never made it out of Korea.
You are defeating your own point. The reason it never made it out was because it was in Beta! Almost any game that gets a lot of negative feedback in beta tries to fix things. But, nobody considers that as a launch then rework. Only someone like you who is trying to be overly negative about a title.
