I'm really happy with my decision to just keep playing ESO. Past couple of months I have earned almost 200 champion points. Some great updates and new content.

but... I dunno about the future. So much shit breaking that I guess I'm kind of numb to it.

At the end of the day though... I can't complain. I got multiple copies of the game for free by "pre-ordering" it when it was F2P. Definitely got my money's worth

Previously innocent players were getting autobans from groups of people spamming reports on people, New World devs have zero clue what they are doing.

Finally decesive and stated PERMA bans (whether it's truly permanent... cross fingers).

Previously major exploits they were given out vague information... aka a lot reported 24 hour to a week bans.. not perma.

Logged in, found my shed overflowing then noticed you can't sell shit because market is off.
Even though there is lots of people on my server still playing, I give up on this game xD.

With a new bug that happened to me I'm also starting to lose patience.

So the new 'feature' is that when you die you are stuck in the 'waiting for revive' pose.

According to forums the only solution is to get revived by other players (GMs, devs can't do anything about this!). If you are for example under water your game ist over as you can't be rezzed. The best thing is, once you've had this bug it's permanently active and you cannot completely die ever again and from then on always need to be rezzed by other players.

This is one the most ridiculous bugs I've ever had in my 20 years of playing MMOs.

Seriously they need to get their sh.. together. This is getting out of hand.

It's really sad that they don't have any other solution than to punish the whole population for the actions of some exploiters.

A company like Blizzard would have hotfixed this within a few hours.

Yet again, why are gaming journalists just reporting the studios "transfers" line as a panacea? We had the server merges announced last week, yet no one called that out for the potential debacle it could be. Transfers only sort issues out long term so offer no immediate solutions and they have a track record of creating bugs which this studio finds hard to clamp down on.

My concern is that this is not in entirety a mistake on their part, we may well see every MMORPG "launched" in what is really early access from now on. Now I am going to point the finger, many guys on here played Fallout 76 and accepted it, played Valheim in EA and thought nothing of it, you played NW in EA and think nothing of that. By doing this you are setting the level of what is acceptable as a "launch".

Not leveling all of this at you Cyromatrix, you may have not played Valheim or FO 76 for all I know, but players doing and accepting this are setting a precedent the studios are seizing hold of.

Yep..me and my wife love this game. I have about the same amount of hours in as you. Still lovin it. AGS will get over this hump. Nothing is ever smooth at first with any game. Looking forward to the compensation we will get for being patient with the devs working overtime on these things, and for the people that decided to take advantage of the dupes and exploits...well...so long!

This reminds me of that Charlie Brown Halloween Episode when Linus is out there waiting for the great pumpkin.

You think you're clever but seriously....how long has the game come out? Your analogy would be better suited for a Star Citizen release. Amazon has the resources and they have shown commitment, why anyone would think they won't fix this game is baffling to me. All I can think is haters and trolls who want to see it fail....another thing I don't get. People are enjoying it, if that bothers you then guess who is being trolled?

The only reason a full relaunch like ARR was possible was because of the strong attachment to the FF IP. There are very few IPs in the gaming world that could get away with that nonsense.

Thanks, I have Olepi in New World too, but like many, I have decided to stop playing for now. I did the same thing in LoTRO: played in beta, bought it at launch, and then played for a short while. Then waited for a while to let it mature.

I have played enough NW to know that I do want to play it more. And I usually wait 6 months to a year before playing a new MMO, to let it sort out.

Believe it or not there are people who don't exploit. I would argue a vast majority don't exploit. The issue is that those who do exploit (usually in the power guilds), grow in even more power and dominate the games core game loop. I have 400 hours in the game and I didn't take advantage of any exploits it just isn't how I roll. When hatchets were chopping people up for 3k a swing, I stopped using the hatchet till it was fixed.

So, there are a ton of us who don't have max gold and just play the game to have fun. We are the majority, but unfortunately Amazon doesn't ban the exploiters perm and that is what is hurting the game.

I 100% agree with you. My wife and I been playing non stop since it came out. My guild way back from the UO days (we all in our late 40's to 50's now still playing. We enjoy the crafting, the PVE and love the PVP.

I just wish they would ban these power guilds that are obviously abusing these dupes and bugs. Not a 24 hour ban, but erase the account type of ban. It needs to happen.
