I honestly don’t care if he’s MJ or not. I kinda hope he is, although seriously doubt it... large questions around some of that “proof” (Such as I can play FSR without going to Steam or at least I used to).

Sooo... in a single thread I discover that that KS funds were raised to fund the engine 1st, game 2nd(+ optional) according to the de-facto liability clause statement on their KS page here >> https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/13861848/camelot-unchained under the section "Your money goes where?" that reads..

"Every dollar we raise from this Kickstarter campaign will go towards development. Our staffing plan includes hiring three additional engineers, two artists, one designer and one part-time writer immediately. The MMO engine will be developed in-house with one purpose, to make a great RvR MMORPG; the engineers will work with Andrew on it, and our existing programmers on the server tech. While this game won’t require the amount of content as Dark Age of Camelot, we still need to hire a few more artists in-house and a writer so, dragons be praised, Mark can go back to his day job and stop writing all these documents." <<ZERO mention of CU by name. NONE.

aaand I also figured out that MJ is posting on an alt account on a game forum to steer conversation away from any topics that could possibly trigger a new wave of refunds and people here are STILL too deep in forum tribalism/politics to even acknowledge the obvious... unbelievable...

WHAT?!? You started this thread for transparency about X game and you don't care that creator of X game has been actively attempting to derail it for days?

Yeah man... he played outside of Steam because he played it at CSE when it was being developed cause he's the developer lol.

How MJ really writes, comments from MoP, Spring of 21.

"We didn’t “promise” that the 24×7/full game experience would be in by the end of the summer, I said that we “expected” that it would be in. I didn’t use promise and, more importantly, I said that one of the holdups is getting a full-time UI person in so we can build out the needed UI for things like crafting. As you know, I have rarely used the word “promise” since I started making games since it’s an important word to me (as per below for example). So, I respectfully ask that you change how you worded your opener. As much as I want to have a full game experience in by the end of the summer, if we can’t find another experienced engineer to help build our UIs, it’ll be impossible to deliver on the front-end experience. Just like now, we have an alchemy system that runs on the backend but we don’t have the UI for the frontend.

3) As you noted, I did say in the livestream/update that our office is reopening in June and that once that happens, I’ll be the first in and be able to address the refund issue quicker since I won’t just have to go in on a Saturday/Sunday. As I said, way too long ago, as soon as my wife/I got double-vaxxed and the cases started dropping, I’d start going back to the office and speed up the refund catch up process. Now that we are in that state, I’m heading in and keeping that promise. So that does address a couple of MOP’s and the community’s key points.

If Nurso is MJ we must know, and we have to know why they won't drop the NDA.

I'm sick of threads being derailed only to be retailed and then kinda derailed again. This is a thread of action!

I love CU as much as the next non-backer, I mean I don't even think about it outside this thread!

Tell us why the NDA won't be lifted. I want to know how many strippers were rented and how much booze was drank with my theoretical money!

EDIT: I'm starting to think Kyleran might be MJ's cat...

I have had the CU launcher on my desktop for years... multiple PCs... and probably close to a decade. The CU launcher also launches that Ragnarok game that all backers have access to.

This doesn't make me Andrew Megs or Mark's cousin.

Nurso has been doing nothing wrong nor obnoxious... unlike other super-fans in other games. He just seems like a genuine fan.

As far as how he writes. I write far more like MJ than Nurso, but maybe that's my secret.

Maybe I AM ACTUALLY MARK JACOBS!! And, since I am obviously not doing much development on CU.. I have plenty of time to sit on here and post. It all fits! And I double dip by getting other developers like the big money bags Project Gorgon and Embers Adrift to pay me to shill for their games while I am here.
