Actually the studio was created to deliver Squadron 42, the single player game, SC was unplanned scope creep and gold plating.
That you wake up in the morning, knowing you've been shitting on this game for so many years and still know fuck all about it and it's development and go to a forum and act like an authority is the reason why the unicorn meme was born lol
The kickstarter and the studios were made to do both Squadron 42 (Wing Commander) and Star Citizen (Freelancer) experiences from the get go.
The pitch video showed Squadron 42 logo in the end but the kickstarter link already has the name of Star Citizen and not SQ42:
So , while haters and cynics keep polluting this forum with ignorance, bile and contempt for Dev's and their games I'll keep pointing and laughing at such ignorance while facepalming at so called gamers that are so thick and brainwashed to be angry that they can't realise that the game and dev's they so much spiel hate and toxicity at are actually putting huge amount of effort into making a game they've wished for and have been eager for so many years while pushing the genre forward.
That's why, despite all the ignorance posting that goes around this forum, they are best kept engaged and fed.
Cause we realy want them here when the epiphany happens. Then the lot will realise just how blind and wrong they were.
And hopefully, they can grow from it and then be more lenient with other projects and developers.

It's okay- being a fan boy of the *second* best crowdfunded game is almost as good as being a fan boy to the *first* best!
I am definitely fine with y'all comparing a multibillion dollar NFT company buying other multi billion dollar companies, with star citizen. I am excited for Block chain gaming to demolish traditional gaming. Its going to be great. Star Citizen can be #2 and is still winning
I hope we never go back to traditional gaming, block chain is the future. SC doesn't have NFTs but its about as close as it gets relative to the non block chain market. SC definitely inspired many of these block chain projects, it helped shaped this amazing future we are heading into. I Play 2 Earn.

Funny thing is, even if Roberts shut down and cut town tomorrow, there are at least 3 people here who would /shrug and claim they got their money's worth.
