Well according to Malkavian i'm limited to my personal opinions.... *sigh* this will be... rather useless then
Well i'll post something now anyway along those lines maybe i'll get a way to post my in depth story about the game,(i can't beleive i typed it... it's like a essay, i had enuff of them at school! didn't need to do 1 now but i did). Now to justify my selection for the beta, i have found numerous bugs already ranging from many Typo's to monsters standing still while u cast spells at them from long range, all of which will go and post on the games website shortly.
The game has a certain aura about it, it's something like a Lineage1 meets DAOC(and has a baby?). By that i'm talking about the acctual look of the thing. I haven't explored much of the world yet only the starting area(but all of the starting area) The game has cut out long distance runs to find monsters, the place is full of them! and theres also no time spent waiting for respawns which i like.
There are some ingame features that puzzle me, but i think over time i'll find more info on them so i'll understand but it seems they are making it easy for the newbies to get started(also hinted by numerous quest things ) I've got a mage at the moment currently level 14, leveling in the game is acctually rather quick i recive a whole level from finishing one quest which was also the first time i was helped/helping someone to kill something which was fun .
I've died several times so far, there appears to be no system of identifying whats higher level than you although i may be wrong about that, one death was planned, Malkavian you might have seen it, a rather large thing roaming the beach?(see no detials how boring is it lol) it did a 1 hit kill on me....ouch, theres a small exp loss but who cares really.
I'm sorta wondering off into giving acctual details and stuff so i suppose i should stop until i get some confirmation on how much i can post, and then u can get the huge one (should be excited) Bassiclly i do recommend having a look into the game, it's 1:26 am and i thought it would be about 11pm now so it grabs your attention!!! Bassiclly i'm liking it

Oh and Malkavian those upgrade scrolls are nice i dunno if you've used them yet but they are very good. And if you don't use them they sell for a bit, i dunno how but i have over 110,000 coins already i feel rich pitty it aint real money.
Edit: Also it appears that once you sign up to their forums there is a long time before they send you the email that allows you to confirm registering to the forums....well they'll have to wait for my bug finds till tommorow.

I've just created my character and I've encountered some bugs already. Do you guys have any idea where we should report the bug?
My system matches the requirement. But somehow in the middle of my venture in the town, the screen got blanked out - became white. I have no clue what just happened here. I guess the bugs are unavoidable at this stage of the development.
Otherwise, the graphics looks awesome or I should say above average.

Yes Para, I met that BIG Thing on the BEACH and thought about going for a swim till i was whacked....
Right now I am working on discovering the leveling system. How does one know when they have reached the next level? Presently I have found no indicator untill you indeed reach the next level. Also concerning monsters and items, this too eludes me.
For now, I shall be posting my questions and comments on their forums. Hopefully those that are not participating in the beta can learn more from there untill we are certain what we can post here
Once we're given the green light, I'll talk to Admin regarding a "Games in Development" forum for KO.

I just can't play this game beyond 1 minute of login because of the blank-out. Changing option mode doesn't help either. I wonder how you reached level 9 with such blank-out.
To me it happens in less than 30 seconds after the login everything turning into white after slight blurring effect.
It only lasted briefly for me, as I updated my ActiveX components from MS.
Check to see if you are running the latest version before proceeding and set your display options to the minimum. If that works, great then try it with the restored display options at their highest level.
What are you running btw ?

It is possible for both races, Human and Orc to visit Moradon. If you need help getting there Let me know. FYI: It is going to cost you 600 in game currency to get to Moradon if you are not within the region.

ok I just played and I am in awe....I like the game alot! I am an evil wrinkled thingy lol...the evil wizard yoda thing. Malk I will be on later tonite (after 11:00 CST) so let me know if you have a screen shot session set up...btw anyone trying to get a clan going?
edit: Also played over an hour and didn't encounter a bug yet...well under the friends list "friend" is spelled "frined"
Well i gotto say this game is rock solid, if WOW turns out like this it will rock too... for me the graphics are awsome the game play is fast, but 1 problem i encountered is i think its maby cause its beta but there is no land mass i already beat the highest level thing and im level 18 in 4-5 hrs i got all my highest skills and ive done nearly every quest heh. ive amassed nearly 300k because crystals and opals sell for 100k and 50k. i picked a mage ( seemed overpowered )combine with potions and you can kill anything. the game is flawless so far maby minor little bugs like mob behind a tree you move 2 steps and can continue to attack this is SOOO minor compared to even the biggest mmorpgs like eq and daoc.. and only encountered this twice.
For me the game is sooo smooth, no choppyness no lag and no downtime. not even a bit of a jerk when running through crowded areas.
I think this beta is a teaser for the real game thats why its only 270megs.
also what are pauldrons? if there not pants then how do you upgrade pants lol
as far as im conserned the game is well ready for release but i think i finished the game already unless there is more skills. an it doesnt look like it. i think xp or something must be turned up for beta because i leveled 1-18 in barely anytime and quested along the way.
recommend applying for beta and checking it out.

You cannot start a guild untill you are level 20 and have 2 other people to join.
I will however be creating a guild in the interest of testing out its features and doing skirmishes in the battle grounds and guild dungeons.
