I wasnt very good at Swg, i played everyday all day, though i did not grind much, i mostly explored the planets until nge, i played on corbantis and then all of sudden nge came and for 3 days in theed i seen Nobody at all, for 3 solid days nobody came to theed. SOE did something very bad

i had an elder jedi pre pub 9 and a 12 point armorsmith on ahazi, i can say with absolute certainty that i hate soe more than any other company in the world, they took away the best game i have ever played and almost turned it into basically an fps.

Started an account here just to post on this subject.

I will never buy another SOE game. They may recruit great game designers and artists but in the end you still get poor customer service, terribly broken patches, poor communications with the player base and you run the risk of them turning your game upside down if a new game comes out that makes more money than theirs.

The devs they hire can do nothing to stop this, it comes from the management at SOE. Vanguard will prove this just as all the other SOE games have before it.

Agreed with whole-heartedly, you'd think that for a huge corporation such as SoE, intent on as much profit as possible, they would sped a few hundred thousand on better relations and service. Thousands of potential subscribers are turned off greatly by SoE's lack of the good PR.

They have totaly killed this great game. SOE and LA needs to learn and to all the other makers of online games.. keep a close eye on SWG, because it's everything you SHOULD NOT do when it comes to making changes and how to treat your customers.

OK, I am here to warn any of you new players thinking about starting Star Wars Galaxies. I have played since almost launch off and on. I have seen the many changes, I have grinded endless weeks to get masters in most the professions. I even was able to get a Elder Jedi. I spent endless nights grinding towards Master this and master that. All that is gone....and now it takes you 1 or 2 days to get lvl 90(master) in any profession, minus the crafting ones(still very boring and causes major pain in my fingers from all the needless clicking). Thanks to Lucas new adventure in SWG, The Battle For Restuss, most every server is one sided either all Imperial or all Rebel, my server Is all rebel, and Im a Evil Elder jedi so it makes it tough to earn any rewards in this new "Rebel Expantion"(Free). But Im not here to talk about the one-sided battles. Im here to warn you that SWG is digging its own grave even deeper. Instead of there new Legacy quest, players will find if they head to Restuss and pick the side who has more players(mostly rebels), Then they will find out that you can reach lvl 1 to 90 in less then 2 days. This is a major joke to any hardcore player like myself. I spent years playing, weeks mastering new professions, only to have my efforts laughed at by lucas. This game is made for the 10 year old kids who plays and wants to be lvl 90 with no work. I would rate this game 1 for fun factor and 10 on Graphics. I am not sure what to do.....I loved this game.....now she turned her back on me.........

swg-pcu was a game before its time evan to this day there isn't a game out there that can match it. I hope SOE and sony for that mater go bankrupt i won't buy anything sony because of what they did to swg you spend 2 years grinding out a jedi and have 2 accounts so you can have a top lvl crafter jedi and lol a bh. I just have the small hope that the swg-pcu will come back you could just leave it the same and i would drop wow.

Oh and one more thing wow brought alot more people into the online gaming mmporg world, but a lot became bored, that is where swg would have made their killing so i guess blizz should thank soe for that one

Hey just to clear up, You mean a Crafter, Jedi and a BH? if so then ya, but if not You can have two charactor per server now, and that existing 3 charactors on the server, Pre-nge, then you can keep your 3rd guy on that server. But don't Blame SOE, they are not the designers of the GAME, LUCAS ARTS is the sole developer and designer, SOE adds the online support and runs and maintains the server while Lucas arts says what Happens in the game......Sont Online entertainment is just that, they provide the online for these games and all the Ingame issues. LUCAS ARTS designs what SWG is......

SWG was the best MMO i ever played thats im sure. All other MMO are all about the same, dungen's, loot and nothing more, SWG was about the comunity, the way u chose your path to jedi, the way u could combine profession was the best i ever seen ( i miss the 300 skill point's :P SOE decrise them to 250 ). The graphics dont make an MMO the Comunity makes an MMO and the best comunity i ever seen was on SWG, coples playing toguether the game ( never seen this on other MMO ), ppl helping each other's. Lets take the exemple of WoW ( the most played MMO ) after a few moth's its all about the same, raiding for 16 hour's or more for u get an chance to get 1 or 2 items and there is about more 4 or 5 ppl of your class loking for the same, it was the worst waste of time i ever had was WoW, for me the worst MMO ever.

I played SWG since Beta Phase III and quit because the changes that SOE make to the game, i would stay and play SWG and would never tryed WoW if SOE dind ruin the game

Best game community ever. Do you think the community would of been the same if it wasnt a sandbox? There's too much to moan about SOE. I cant be bothered typing it all out.
