The entire 'Cool-Aid' thing becomes very ironic when one considers that Jim Jones was a US Evangelist not that different from Falwell or Robertson.
It becomes even more ironic when one considers that the one US congressman whio was willing to investigate Jonestown, actually was a Democrat.
It still isn't an argument worthy of consideration though, just a denial tactic and an admission of 'I watch only FOX, read only Coulter and have no mind of my own', in fact a Cool-Aid of its own.

Attacks on United Nations personnel
The United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon, or UNIFIL, was created by the United Nations, with the adoption of Security Council Resolution 425 and 426 on 19 March 1978, to confirm Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon,restore the international peace and security, and help the Lebanese Government restore its effective authority in the area. The first UNIFIL troops arrived in the area on 23 March 1978; these troops were reassigned from other UN peacekeeping operations in the area (namely UNEF and UNDOF).
Israel invaded Lebanon again in 1982 (1982 Lebanon War), U.N. positions were overrun. During the occupation, UNIFIL's function was mainly the provision of food and aid to locals in Southern Lebanon. In 1999, it undertook a full withdrawal, which concluded in 2000 and enabled UNIFIL to resume its military tasks. At the request of the country of Lebanon in January 2006, the UN extended UNIFIL's mandate to expire 31 July 2006.

It was reported on 26 July that "at least 10 Lebanese ambulances bearing the emblem of the international red cross have [...] become targets in Israeli air strikes",[118] resulting in the death of more than a dozen patients and emergency workers.[119][120][121][122] Similarly, an ambulance struck by Israeli aircraft fire near Sour was marked as belonging to "the Shiite Amal militia", although that organisation is not acknowledged as a combatant in the conflict.[123]

Israel did this crap before in a conflict and they killed a member of my family, that I never met mind you, who was working at a UN post. They got confirmation from Isreal they would not target the UN base, and bam less than seconds after the post called the UN main base to share the good news it was leveled.
Isreal want's the world's sympathy and they've had it. Now they're using it, much like the US did with it's 2 flawed invasions to the middle east, to take free shots and flatten civilian, UN, and Red Cross units?
Sure we can argue that suicide attacks are cowardly, but just sitting back miles away pressing button after button throwing explosive charges where so ever you feel like aiming a machine is just as cowardly.
Isreal has no honor in this conflict. They deserve no sympathy now.

Going to break this conflict down. I will list the two groups that are doing most of the fighting..i will tell you their goals..you tell me what they should do:
Isreal - Kill Hesbollah, Survive and then have peace
Hessbolah (sp) - Kill Jews and destroy Isreal. And then have peace.
Both stated that these are their goals.

No matter how many UN things you list, you must remember two things:
1. No definite proof has been offered that Isreal went after the UN on purpose.
2. The UN is in the middle of a war zone observing. People DIE in warzones.

2. Israel said it was a regretable mistake. That they died, like you say because they where in a warzone. But this is kinda hard to imagine when Israel had been warned 6 times. They also sport some of the finest high quality military equipment from the US. When you see the pictures from the camera mounted on the missile, it's nothing but a prefectly clean hit. Hard to imagine that it was a mistake.

you forget that Israel had a security zone in Lebanon from 1981 to 1999 and from there hunted Hezbollah. For 18 years you hunted them, with no success. Now you expect Lebanon, that has nearly no army to disarm them, to do your job for you.

When they sent the ambulances in to rescue the wounded the bullets were still flying. There is no "stop firing" in the middle of a firefight, it's to the death.

Same answer to you Tomm, you will have to kill them to disarm them. They aren't going to give up. There is no kill or disarm option. That's a luxury not avaolable to you. Only kill or kill and disarm.
I'm quite hopeful that the shipment of bunker buster bombs you have just received will dramatically turn the tide of this combat in your favour. I think within a couple of days I'll know.

This were not artillery, these were precision guided bombs and there is no way that they hit that place by misstake. They did it to show them that Israel (and US) can do anything they want, even attacking and killing unarmed peace keepers, and there is noone to stop them.
Their motives for this deliberate attack isnt clear but a possible one could be that they want to keep peace keeper forces clear of their area so they cant observe any possible war crimes commited by Israel which they frequently do.
Israel is the biggest millitary force in the region and with strength usually comes pride and then arrogance. But what theyre not realising is that for every child, women and elderly they kill (about 300 so far) they are creating recruits for Hizbollah and Al Qaida.
They may weaken Hizbollah but they will be back, stronger and more determined with recruits from people who have had their families massacred by Israel and their US funded weapons of mass destruction.

yes, kill and harm, but not all of Hesbollah, hurt till they stop to control Lebanon.
its a known fact that Hesbollah is under the Iran army support and training.
Iran supply them with missles that can get up to the other side of israel.
also, they act when Iran tell them to act, so when Iran fill the strees, they pull out there doll that called Hesbollah.
and for the bombs, i dont think they will help, as i was there and saw there bunkers, u cant really see it till u are meters from the bunker itself, in a range where u can already throw grenades.
also, if they arent going to give up, its the choice, its not like they want to kill us, we only want them to stop attacking us.
and for germany, it was just an example. take any other country for example, that when will get attacked, wont do nothing but talk.

At ten thousand feet, one military bunker looks much the same as another. And if those bombs were so precise how come the first 14 strikes missed?
