ok i dont know if people saw this but... i did..

is this a good thing or a bad thing?? the 10 day trail is gone!! ... new version of SWG is comeing out.. is this a good thing or a bad thing?

    i dont know.. i was ban from forums.. but when i was going to SWG forums.. and doing a by pass to get pass the ban thing.. i hit 10 day trail thing and this pop up... i was like... what... 10 day trail is down.. new version is comeing out.... whats going on? then i quickly went to this site.. and post it after takeing a picture...

    normaly i was going to SWG site to see if there is any news on devs telling us there wrong about NGE.. bout got this .

    Then again, it could be nothing....im a little noncommittal tonite.  

    Seriously, it must mean something.  Just a matter of what.  I guess they could just be coming out with  a new trial, but lets pray for the best.   And then bitch about it when it falls short.....

    um... I think they mean a new Trial client for the current NGE SWG, not a whole new game

    ... still, we live in hope :)

    In addition, all game updates, content additions, and game enhancements introduced over the past three years.

    I'll let you figure it out.

    But that is for Star Wars Complete, which has been announced for a while.   This change to the trial is new, and theoretically could be caused by some drastic change.  Its at least possible...../shrug

    Maybe they're going to revamp the trial to include details on the auto-target and auto-fire stuff, along with Expertise.

    i hate you.... it should be a new version.. a fix!! to get rid of NGE! ..get rid of it for the love of god! get rid of the NGE!!

    is there anything pass HATE? because i dont think i can hate SOE/LA/SWG any more then i can now.. this game freakin sucks!!

    Can anyone post this topic on the official forums? Maybe someone there has the answer. It could just be an update to the 'Trial' like Obriak said, but it would be nice to know for sure.

    i got ban just by posting.. i dont agree with the NGE and will be canceling soon.. then i got ban!

    but i use babelfish to get pass it..

    i thought are game was comming back for sure after i saw that... i really hope it was it, but the game we all played... gone it is.. and we never going to get it back!

    Good catch. When I saw this I have to admit that I was skeptical, but then when I when to their main site and click to skip the intro movie I saw the samething. I find this very interesting not only because of the site but what the SOE VPs have said about the NGE being a mistake [http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=10830 ], and the most recent rumors. It very interesting and makes me wonder what is going to happen. Could this mean per-cu SWg or a hybrid new system? I know one thing this forum site is probably going to be getting real hot [active] real soon...lol.

    Although, i suppose one mans trash is another mans treasure, so for your (and many others, you know who you are) future mental health im kind of hoping that the ducks will pull through with their.. project, and succeed.

    Actually Pirrg, im impressed.   You temper your distaste for us with compassion.  I suppose that shows some growth, and is to be commended.  No matter how muted it may be.   Bravo !!

    This, ..., is most interesting.

    1) shutdown.

    There is no real reason why they should stop the trial. Ever. They are free, they show the game, why take them down? Why not let it run until it's replaced.

    You never do anything like that since SWG is not running any kind of limited trials, but a free for all, especially zoned area trial. There is no reason for this.

    Unless, if you know, the game will no longer exist within 1 + 1 months, and asking people to subscribe would be deceitful. 1 + 1 is 1 free month that comes with subscription.

    2) pre-cu? CU? UCLA? YMCA?

    Pointless guesses. All of them "sucked", all of them had issues, regardless of everything, neither is a silver bullet. Neither would restore the product without 1+ years of dedicated work.

    3) New version

    Of a live game? Under same publisher, with all the silence? No E3 hype?

    4) NGE^2

    Nope. Failed.

    5) ???

    Anything goes here. But with SOE, it'll likely be option 7.



    Still, it's a little too quiet, but the option 1) to me seems rather too convenient and way too fitting.

    Although i pray that your wrong, this makes some sense.  So many complain about the difference between the trial and the game, that this is possible.  But then again, when people leave that station is when they get pissed so it may keep them from being able to sucker more flies into the trap.  But still your answer makes some sense....

    It's not like masses of players wait on the trial download page for news...

    If that is what happened, then maybe they had to disable it while they added in the ability to leave teh station?   I dont  know, but we know they arent capable of doing anything intricate without screwing up the whole game.   Again, I pray that it is big news....but with our luck it just what obraik said.
