I just would return to see 'The Total Shutdown' of the game ,getting lost in Rori till I saw the message 'You have lost the connection to Star wars Galxies'
I would resub both my accounts, either CU or Pre CU. Only one stipulation, that SOE and LA keep there hands OFF of the code and leave it exactly like it was; bugs, non working missions, unfinihsed professions etc. Just leave it alone.

If they fixed people standing there AFK and killing Mobs...... a problem that was there at launch and there when i quite 18 months later and still there when I looked in on the NGE a few months ago....
Then yes Id play.
But the AFK fighting thing has always been for me the signature of the devs combined apathy and incompetence on this title. I cant see that changing.

New classic servers wouldn't be enough to tempt me.
At a minimum, it would have to be a complete roll back of all servers to November 14, 2005, before I would consider it. But even at that there would have to be additional conditions:
1. A complete and unequivocal apology, including an admission of the fraud they perpetrated;
2. Compensation for the time lost;
3. A trial period before I resubscribed to make sure they didn't screw anything up or back peddle in any way.
If Lucas Arts fired SOE and publicly chastised them, I might be somewhat more flexible on these conditions, but rolling back the server, rather than a merely creating classic servers is no negotioable.
I would be tempted to come back again. A lot of time has passed since NGE and have been enjoying a couple other games to the point that SWG in any form is becoming a distant memory.
Well I'm currently playing the NGE, (mostly because I am waiting for LOTRO to come out and notheing else out there I find interesting) I would defiently play on an original game server instead. They should just open up a few servers of the old game and see which game is more popular. You know it would kill off the NGE in a heartbeat.

yes i would. pre-cu, cu even, anyhting but NGE.
I'd fire up both my accounts and be trying to log in, (pre-CU only), while the server was still initially booting up.

a. Game is obsolete even without all the stuff wrong with it.
b. Even if classic is brought back they will mess that up before long.

Well, I would buy some times, but im still quite tierde of swg and soe, seriosley its almost 1 and a half year since Pre-CU ended.
I'm thinking ppl are makeing it better then it was, though i agree it was alot of fun.
