Well i say to stay away from the welcome areas like waterhead,Ahern,Help Island Public, Because they tend to attract griefers. I prefer to be at places like GYC(Gay Yiffy Club),or the Furnation Sandboxes.

Trading account in SL is against the Linden Lab TOS,and a good way for your account to be suspended. If you want to get L$ go to the SL website and where it says "update billing info" press either credit card or paypal.
