As an SWG player still angry about "Smedley's Folly," yeah, this is my next game. Backed it early, looking forward to living in it in four months or so.
Already on it. I'm a "Private" at present, looking forward to the game. If they can get the housing and social aspects equal to or even better than pre-NGE SWG, I'm sold solely on that - everything else is gravy.
I miss pre-NGE SWG. A lot.
I'm so tired of the "new hamster wheel every few weeks" routine, even as long-standing issues go ignored. The combination of hamster wheels and cash shop exploitation has been a frustrating waste of time for me - the drop statistics have been slowly…
I'm actually excited - I pre-ordered, so I'm staying up until midnight just to get in as soon as the head start opens.
It's been a while since I've been this excited about an MMO. I only hope GW2 lives up to their marketing - a truly dynamic world,…

Most games have "lots O potential." Cryptic humped a bunk on the release of this one, and still can't seem to get basic elements nailed down. It's nice to see they're still trying to put lipstick on this pig, but at the end of the day it's still a t…
I, too, am baffled by this sudden wave of folks claiming disappointment over a game that won't be out for 9 months or so. It's almost as if too many folks are investing their personal futures in the success or failure of this (or, really, any) game.

It's an MMO - I mean, it's multi-player, and it's online. "Massive" may be a statement of ego, rather than one of reality, though, as I can't see anybody actually shelling out (ha, ha) money to play this dross.
Absolutely. Using the Star Trek intellectual property to paint over the Champions Online engine and then treating it as a separate game has been appallingly shameless.
I've been playing FE for about two months or so, and I am, indeed, starting to become disinterested. Reasons:

Received my key, played for about two days, and bought a subscription. Well worth the money.
Of course, I had just come off the following chain of games: Conan, Champions Online, Aion, Star Trek Online. After that sequence of events, playing Elect…

I tried to play SWG post-NGE, I really did. But having the game I spent more than two and a half years playing removed and replaced with the current travesty still rankles.
Bitter? You betcha. From PB2 to NGE, I was a rather dedicated fanboy - and…
I think that my reaction to MTs depends on the game itself - I don't have a convenient "blanket policy" that covers all MMOs.
I don't like the appearance of "double dipping." If I think that the game producer is attempting to drum up cash by using…
