I have read in the forums here and the official forums that EQ2 is being designed with compatability in mind and that ports common to other applications are not being blocked. Also I have seen where others are using TS in beta.

It is all well and good that quest givers call out but there should be a limit to this. I can see walking down a street and hearing 10 or 20 NPCs trying to give yu a quest. That would get annoying.
