How could they leave out the EQ bard?
The minstrel in DAoC while somewhat similar to the bard had its unique elements.
The bard in Vanguard was unique also.

I think they could start with a new modern game engine and make an upgraded EQ graphics wise, game play ect somewhat. Use mostly the same lore and content.

Well in EQ, you dropped everything. So a character with high level equipment has little chance of every getting it back as most of it was bind on acquire and you can't really do the raids without decent equipment.
