@jaxsundane,
"Ok so basically you explain the different design philosophies involved in the art direction I'm still looking forward to hearing what Champions does that reflects comic books that COH doesn't do."
You asked for a clarification abou…
I guess we're just looking for different things. I think Champions' combat is fun and I like the variety of enemies and locations. I would think, if playing a few levels in CO bores you, that all MMOs would, and most would bore you a lot faster.

@Joshua69
Everybody on one game? It would be cool, though I have been happy to see the investment NCsoft made in CoH, partly as a result of competition. I hope we'll continue to see multiple games trying to one-up each other.
I don't think …
Yep. The site says September 1 at 10 AM Pacific.
I'm another lifer and I think Champions Online is a lot of fun. I still subscribe to City of Heroes too, but I really like the additions in Champions.

Looks great. Thanks for doing this.

The branching feature has been discussed elsewhere.
Not to say that it wouldn't have been nice for the game's designers to have access to both features sooner. Hopefully they will go back and apply the Contextual Dialog capability to the mission…
Heh. That did come across as megalomaniacal at first, but I think Thunderous means his immersion. That'd be a valid basis for judging CoH's unofficial sequel, I'd say.
I actually do expect superheroes to fight a lot of the time, but I agree th…
Unlike the Sims Online, There is true 3D. I'd argue that the visuals are superior to the Sims Online's, especially since There has increased the quality and maximum size on user-created objects.

Cool. Auto Assault was huge fun in the first place. I'm really curious about the changes to the skill system.
It's been a few weeks since I've had time to play, and I totally tuned out of the AA forums. I guess I'll have a patch waiting for me…
Yeah. Still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we've been witnessing a slow start.
It's true that the developers can never produce puzzles (and history and places to explore) faster than we can solve/see/admire them, but I think they know they…

I think the original game had a few purposes.
You could explore the locations. The graphics, at the time Myst was first published, were spectacular.
You could figure out how to use clues that were found in the world to unlock access to mor…
Yesterday they confirmed that the release will be held off for "a post-Thanksgiving Launch."
If they released it today and any unexpected problems surfaced, it'd mean a disrupted holiday for the support team and possibly the developers.
Returning to the question "how do you make sure a casual server is casual?" for a minute...
They could bring back the original Rest State modifier system. In addition to the current experience bonus when a character is fully rested, the system ori…
