You act like game companies are here to not make money, wages and bills must be paid, a completely free to play game works well in the world of hopes and dreams but where i live in the real world it just dont work that way.

Dont think there are to many MMOs with a great story, most are rather Generic story lines, I liked SWTOR its story kept me playing all the way to max level just to see what happens next. Cant say any other titles have done the same.

I will give them $50 and a $15 a month sub when the game is released provided its any good, Currently its flying on hopes and dreams. Kickstarters is a bit of a Joke in my opinion a free ride to riches with no risk for failure.

So it seems to me the hype is based around the legacy DAOC has left behind, that is a scary and tough act for Camelot Unchained to follow i wish them all the best but knowing the MMO crowd to well i do not envy them at all.
