Yup, the terrible engine killed EQ2. Hell I can't even really stand it for long now on 2011/2012 era hardware that's capable of eating every thing else up for 60+ FPS @ 1920x1080.

It isn't that good, but not because of low quality as is the case with the other releases (War, ToR, AoC, LOTRO, Cata, et al) - but more because it's simply not a fun themepark scene. Sandbox or GTFO.
