From all appearances, Turbine is taking extra special care with this one. They almost have to. This is the penultimate fantasy license. If they botch it their name is MUD.

The game play video that was released was out-of-date, and the devs have said in no uncertain terms combat speed is one of the major issues to be worked out during alpha/beta. See this thread.

Considering there is no official pre-order yet, and gamestop doesn't even have the right Developer listed (they show Midway) I will wait until Turbine announces a pre-order before considering it.
