IMO guilds are just getting more and more elistist these days. Thinking every guild needs to be the top and win everything and do everything "first."
Of course a lot of this could easily be solved by games supporting good voip within them and out o…
What's even more annoying is that they take this "single player" rpg storylines and toss the minto an mmo where it just doesn't fit.
Nothing can sap you right out of any interest in an mmo's "Story" then when you are the one and only "chosen" on…
What makes it frustrating for some of us that were around for the first main gen of mmorpgs (UO, EQ, AC) is that we got a "taste" of mmo's that were each VERY different. Comparing UO to EQ is like apples to oranges, they each offered something dra…

Doesn't matter what combat system a game uses... nobody is going to play any of the new games for more than a month before switching games. They don't care to spend all their time playing…

Well, I think back in the EQ1 days the slower combat was largely a necessity based on the latency of Internet connections. Now that this isn't an issue developers are looking at different styles of combat that exist in…
There has yet to (imo) be a fantasy based mmorpg that actually went for full 100% action combat. Guild Wars 2 and most "action" combat mmorpgs still have one foot planted firmly in traditional mmo combat in some form. It's like they are all too scar…
To me a living breathing world is when the game world changes over time, either by the player bases action or the developers.
It's when a world doesn't stay exactly the same all the time and it feels like just a static world.
The best exampl…
This could ALL have been avoided had Zenimax made werewolves/vampires both RANDOM and very rare spawns.
By having them spawn in set places in specific zones there is NO WAY they could not have known this would happen.
Why on earth they did t…

Something is definitely wrong somewhere, I was stuck on the loading screen into cyrodiil and when I relogged it's taking forever just loading from the login into the character select screen.
I'd like to warn you if you DO put in your key, you "lose" these two free days (and your sub starts counting down).
So if you have a key wait until then to put it in.

They didn't do that through questing, bosses, raids, dungeons, etc.
They went to area's with no other players and lots of m…

Umm, an Australian players connection has ZERO affect on your connection to the server.
Just because people outside NA are playing on it (And it was clearly said that the choice of server was the players choice, so Europeans can play on NA and N…
It just simply makes NO SENSE why they did this.
It should be account bound and sent to every single new character you make (It's not like you can trade/sell the items or anything).
The only thing it does by making it one-use only is:

I do not see how anyone can be against optional chat bubbles.
IMO Chat bubbles are better then the chat "box" we have in most mmo's these days.
UO, SWG, etc it was sooo much easier seeing exactly who said what and everything, on top of this …
The main problem is that UserID and login names need to be separate.
Forcing you to reveal your login name is just ASKING for trouble and makes it much easier to have accounts comprimised.
So you should have :
1. Sign in name
2. User ID (N…
