You're right, they should have named it something else then. AC2 is a great game in and of itself. AC1's graphics stink. I would't play such an ugly game.

What's an AD? By the way, DnL sent me a message saying they're working on a webpage right now that will keep us updated on the status of their servers. They respond pretty quickly if you send them an email from their support webpage.
