Usually when i get to a point/bottleneck where the game i am playing will become a whole lot easier to progress if i just get out my wallet, i quit. Seems to be happening more as the years go on.
You do realize that not all of those 461 folks are responsible for game direction/decisions. Some are just told to "make a hammer", so they made you a damn hammer.

PvP'rs will always find a way to grief. Always. Personally, i enjoyed DAoC's take on it. You had the frontiers, battlegrounds and DF for pvp, which was great fun. Even then, there was a lot of griefing.

Yeah, that system does not make much sense to me. Just give players the ability to flag or unflag for pvp in towns and the game would be more attractive to more players. Unless they are trying to be niche.
