Loona, you don't need to complete the attending quests, you can ask the local lord/lady/magristrate to de-attend you without doing the quests. And there is collision now aswell so you can't walk through people.
I think the problem with the water is that they don't want people escaping combat situations by just jumping into the river and swimming off because you obviously can't fight while your swimming.

The servers can handle a large amount of players, at the moment theres a tracking problem which is why the server is having so much lag and whatnot but the devs should have that fixed soon

I like to play them because you get to make friends and meet loads of people. I also like MMORPGs because its more of a long term game than a game you just complete and thats it. You can never eally "complete" an MMORPG :P
