When was the research for this review done? There's been an in-game (non-YouTube video) play-through movement tutorial for a few weeks now, with big indicators on the launcher on how to play it, with more tutorials on the way (reportedly).

Is this a World of Darkness game or a Vampire: the Masquerade game? I played some WoD PnP RPGs in the 90's, but I hate the Vampire game. I played Werewolf, and then when it came out, switched to Mage. I don't see anything in these links but Vampire …

Maybe I'm missing something, but I really don't see why people are so upset about this. There are plenty of reasons to be angry with Cryptic, but I don't think this is one. T…
"One of the biggest complaints that we've heard about Cryptic's Star Trek Online has been that there are many players out there who claim that it just "isn't Star Trek" enough."

Does anyone remember Motor City Online? It didn't last long, but it had some potential. Hopefully lag won't kill off the ability to actually race (again), but we'll see.
I always find it funny that there are hundreds upon hundreds of voices calling out for an MMO that is not like WoW, and when they get it, they complain it does not live up to their standards or their expectations.
Only to find out that the game e…
You know, I'm getting a bit tired of IncGamers' habit of trying to make an entire article out of 1 sentence that an exec says at a time. Quality over Quantity!

Closed betas are not supposed to benefit the player. It's a stage of testing that's supposed to benefit the game, so the developers can see if their concepts actually work the way they're supposed to when exposed to a greater number of people than t…
It sounds like this writer is not fond of the concept of players writing their own backstories. Just as sure as you can make your own race, you can make up your own backstory to go along with it. The funny part about that is that you don't even 'nee…
