Right now DAoC is undeniably on its way out. If we had been having this discussion in 2004 I would have said DAoC. I think DAoC is more fun, but WoW definitely will last longer.

Guild Wars has been released in 3 seperate chapters. When you create a character you choose a campaign top play with that character, so they're not necessarily like normal expansions in other games.
