so as a summary, people would prefer an arcade racing game, but with high customisation. What about weapons etc? would you prefer more futuristic? or current car designs?

I suppose the problem with Simulation is latency. When you are trying to take a corner perfectly, one glitch and your toast.

Yes definately.... But Would it be based on the old great books by Frank Herbert? Or based on his sons work, Battle for Corrin etc which in a way would make a better mmo.

What you all should remember is it is going to be a brand new game. If they made mistakes in the past, I'm sure they will go through the motions to not repeat them again. Wait until the game is out, or at least in open beta before making assumpt…

I personally have very high expectations. I've followed it very closely recently and no other mmo has captured me in as AoC has now. They have been very ambicious and I really do believe its going to be a great game We'll see in 6months
