Actually, after watching a video of Aion combat, 'looks' like a nice game; as we all know, however, games arent all about graphics.

Well after picking up WAR and then feeling let down i'm going for LotRO but i dont know how long that can hold my attention. I long for game that grabs me as SWG and DAoC did.

I find exactly the same thing with LotRO as a whole; granted i've only just started playing the 14 day trial. I have often, over the past 5 days, found myself heading across green pastures or snow capped mountains only to realise i've gone too far…

In a perfect world, NCSoft would let private entities reverse engineer the code and open up their own servers, but i dont see that happening.

Call me cynical, but graphics dont make or break a game. DAoCs been around for years, this alone shows how good it is. Anyway, I havnt won the lottery yet so can't afford a big rig to run VG on.

Any chance i could get one of those cd-keys, friends have said good things about EVE, but never played as DAoC has been my home for a while, a trial couldnt hurt tho . Thx
