This is a great business design. Alienate and prevent new players and returning players from buying your product because you want them to grind story quests made for 11 year olds. I am sure this expansion will bring many neaw subscriptions.

Honestly i cancelled my pre-order after I found out I have to do all the 120 fetch quests to play as the new jobs. I am sorry, I have been playing FF since FF-1 Mystic Quest and what you call story in FF14 is disney story written for 10 year olds, …

Terrible, terrible business decision. I bet you 90% of people will not realize they cannot play as the new jobs. Just watch the outcry once the game launches.

It seems they have also gated the new Classes so untll you complete all the storyline outlined above you will not be able to play as Dark Knight and others. Terrible design and it is sure to put off new players.
