As for PVE the game has more content than WOW had at launch at that game is still 10 million subs. In 2 weeks an adventure zone will be released with around 5-10 normal dungeons and a few trials (any word on how many yet?). Veteran rank 10 actually …
Yup gonna be playing this for a long time. I don't get people who answers to this thread and they haven't even bought the game, why even bother commenting.
First of all can we stop bashing GW2. Alot of people enjoy that game and it was not a failure. I played it for around 300 hours and had alot of fun, shallow PVP made me stop though. It's the best B2P game to ever be released (MMO genre) and the devs …
This might seem wierd but thank you OP for the information it will actually make me buy the game. I despised the PVE so the fact that I can level and make money that fast in PVP is great news. I'm a PVPer at heart and I really liked Cyrodiil.
Nope the game is terrible for me. I despise story driven MMO's. I always skip everything text related in an MMO. Glad everyone else is enjoying it, the PVP is unplayable ATM because of massive lag so can't even try that out. It's a shame....
I agree. Maaaan I really wanted to love this game. Boring quests, solo oriented, everything marked on the map, generic graphics, handholding etc etc. You HAVE to quest to level and the process is boring as hell. I got to level 10 and the PVP is pret…

I would be happy with a flagging system like that had in SWG. So you can open world pvp if you want to.
Flagging system would have been ok imo but fore me personally most problems with…
Can someone explain to me why everyone is comparing it to DAOC's pvp? The most fun I had in DAOC was sneaking over to mid or hib and PVPing.
Open world PVP is great, but it should be very hard. In DAOC if you died you had a solid 30 minute ride ba…
This is actually a really bad idea. As someone said earlier why not only give people the choice, if you don't wanna PVP in PVE zones you just check a box and that's it. And then the people who love the immersion of going over to the enemy faction an…

Originally posted by Pala I don't play MMOs anymore because they are too solo oriented and soloing is just plain boring. I mean how many millions of NPCs can you kill and find it interesting. If I have to interact and work out strategies with my tea…

Atleast in AOC and SWTOR there is an option to take a friend with you if you don't want to solo story.. In Defiane you are forced to solo story missions.
Yeah I agree, if you can do them to their full potential wit…

If WOW hasn't managed to crack that goal, I don't see GW2 doing so. I believe official WOW tournies have fixed gear and …
No other game comes close to GW2 sPVP in terms of amount of skill required and balance. PVP content might be on the light side ATM but other than that GW2 is perfect as an e-sport.
Thought I was drifting away from the game there for awhile only playing 10 hours a week but now with the new sPVP map and a cool dungeon I can't stop playing. Love that I have to play with a Starcraft type APM in PVP. At last a game when skill matte…
Vanilla wow wasn't hardcore by any standards. Soo predictable, as a DPS I always felt safe with a good healer and tank. No sense of danger at all. I love the randomness of GW2, at any point in time a boss can one shot you, keeps you on your toes ins…
